To Get Her

Jealous of Da Doong

After making sure that Dara is safe, he put off all her communications outside so she won't be tempted to browse the internet for news.

Seeing how tired she was from lack of sleep last night, he ushered Dara to the sofa and tuck her head in his lap. She keep him company as he works on his new song. Humming to a tune, his left hand is busy playing with her ears as he works on the lyrics.

Catching a glimpse of the time on his watch, Jiyong purse his lips...it has been four hours since he started writing with Dara peacefully sleeping on his lap. He stretched his body and changed to a comfortable position slowly, making sure not to disturb her and tucked Dara's hair as it fell on her face.

Just as he was getting comfortable, Da Doong, Dara's Bengal cat suddenly jumped on her lap from nowhere, making Dara open her eyes.

'Da Doong ah! My babyyyyyyy!' she exclaimed excitedly. Seeing her hug the cat and act like it was the only love of her life, he feel like he ate an endless jars of vinegar.

Looking at the Bengal cat, Jiyong wanted to laugh. The cat's expression was written all over its face. If Da Doong can speak, Jiyong was sure the cat would talk nonstop to get Dara's attention.

Turning back to look at Dara playing with Da Doong, he felt frustrated. He glared on the cat, his eyes telling him 'I don't like you disturbing us now, but your Mom loves you. So I will let you play with her for now....but not for long!'

Da Doong tilt his head and his eyes seemed to have squint at Jiyong. The cat ignore Jiyong as he purred excitedly and rub its head under Dara's chin.

Dara stretch her arms out and embrace her non-human baby with love. "Oh baby, I'm so sorry...Mommy forgot to check on you today but you have me now.'

Jiyong sighs heavily. He lift his hand and pinch the space between his brows. He doesn't want Dara to leave his side but knowing that his girlfriend love her cat, he let her play with the cat without disturbing them.

He remained seated on the sofa and watched his girlfriend ignore him while she play with Da Doong.

He leans back on the sofa and closed his eyes for a while. His mind drifting to when he rushed earlier from the Kwon household.

Ahhh...the things he do for love.

After what happened the other night, he drove like crazy going to Dara's place because he wanted to see her badly. Being away from her while paparazzi are camp outside her home nearly drove him insane.

"Da Doong ah, your mommy will just take a shower. Behave arraso?'

Hearing the low purr from the cat, Jiyong came out of his thoughts and was even more pissed. Glaring at the Bengal cat, he wanted to throw it outside the door.

'Play with Daddy for a while, I'll be back.' Jiyong heard her told Da Doong as she carry it towards him.

Da Doong looks at his mom then turn his head back to Jiyong. To Jiyong's irritation, Da Doong's stared back at him, his eyes look like its mocking him, as if saying, 'Hmff! My mom loves me more than you!' before he flung his head back and jump down then walks towards his nice and cozy bed that Dara bought for him. Laying down, he position himself and close his eyes.

Dara was rendered speechless. Da Doong has never acted like this before. He was a friendly Bengal cat that loves attention. Tilting her head in confusion, she turn to look at Jiyong. Her eyes saying 'what happened?'

Jiyong looks at Dara with his eyebrows raised. His expression saying, "Oh now you remember I'm here?'

He felt a wave of jealousy sweep through his heart. She did not even welcome him like that when I arrive this morning! Crossing his arms over her chest, he glares at her.

Shaking her head at how cute his boyfriend's reactions were, she left him behind as she walk towards the bathroom to freshen up.
