Eiven watched as the crew started to chunk the bodies over board, their bloodlust settled. Looking around, he didn't expect to see Jack coming out of the hallway to his quarters. Eiven started to put two and two together. Ember had been forced out of the room by one of his own crew, who had disobeyed a direct order.
Eiven immediately stopped his way toward Jack in a manner that made all the crew stop what they were doing. Even Jack froze to his spot, knowing his captain was coming straight for him. Once in front of Jack Eiven focused his steely blue gaze on him, sending a chill down Jack's spine.
"Jack what did I say was to happen if anyone tried to touch Miss Trent?" Eiven asked, his tone dripping with malice.
"Well cap't....I...uh..." Jack stuttered in utter fear of his angry captain.
"Wasn't it the threat of lashes Mr. Felix?" Eiven said turning his head to his first mate. "I do believe it was, the disrespect and decicetfulness here Jack is utterly appalling. For this disobedience I think 40 lashes is deserved."
Two members of the crew walked up and each grabbed one of Jack's arms and began pulling him to the mast. Jack didn't try to fight them though, he would get that little bitch later for ratting him out. Better to just take his lashes like a man. Once the fellow crew members had secured him to the mast they finished by ripping open the back of his shirt as Felix got the long whip. Eiven's whip had an intense look too it, although it did not have metal or glass shards tied to the ends, it did have 3 separate ends each tied into a tight leather ball.
It was enough to seriously inflict pain on a man but not enough to keep him from his duties. Their was no rest for those who are punished. Now normally Felix was elected to be the punisher, but this time it was ever so slightly personal. This time Eiven gave out the lashes.

Ember couldn't stand back up or even turn her head back towards the deck of the ship after all the prisoners had been slaughtered. She felt too nauseous for her own good, for once she wished she could go take refuge in Eiven's quarters. Just then it turned deathly quite, no more bodies being splashed in the water, no more cheerful laughter or random banter from the crew. Only the solid, angry sounding foots steps and the gentle waves hitting the ship could be heard. This was enough to spark her curiosity enough to turn her head to peak in between the railing.
The sight of Eiven stomping towards Jack sent another wave of fear threw her. She wasn't sure if she was scared of Jack himself or scared for Jack. She could tell by Eiven's walk he was not a force to be reckoned with. Apparently such blatant disrespect, she knew there was no way that he was this pissed about Jack touching her. Ember could hear Eiven's words to Jack floating up to her hiding spot, her mouth almost dropped at the sound of 40 lashes.
If Jack hadn't attacked her twice she would actually feel bad for the man, but part of her almost wished Eiven would just kill him. Jack sent her a highly threatening vibe and she highly doubted lashings would do more than piss him off. She watched as the men tied him up without a second glance, and Eiven take the whip in his hand. She watched him bring it back behind him and in a smooth arc bring it down expertly on Jack's back. Jack only sucked in his breath, looking determined not to give too much away. After about the fifth lash, Ember had to look away but she couldn't escape the sounds. Unlike when the crew executed the prisoners, they were somber and silent as Eiven executed his punisment. This crew kept going from one extreme to the other for Ember, especially their steely blue eyed captain.
