Quick question guys, I want your honest opinion. I got a notification today about the Watty Awards, do y'all think I should nominate this story? Honest opinions are appreciated, I won't get offended if you think I shouldn't. My sister already told me I should wait lol

Colby had a few coins on him and had managed to buy him and Ember a meal while they were walking around the town. As far as she was concerned she wasn't seeing any place that looked sage for her to stay in. She had gotten quite a few cat calls herself walking threw the town, a couple had even gotten a little too close for comfort and Colby had to intervene. He was so concerned about her safety that he had started to discretely lead her back to the ship, his mind was made up that he was going to ask the captain on her behalf about her staying until next port. A place like this would only get her killed if she was wondering around here by herself.
Just as they were almost back to the ship a stumbling man came into his line of sight, shocked he realized it was his captain. Right about the same time Eiven pulls back his fist and tried to make it connect with Colbys face.

Ember jumped back with a small squeak as the men began to fight and by fight she meant Eiven throwing punches and Colby doing his best to dodge his attempts. In a series of quick moves Ember could hardly follow Colby had a struggling Eiven pinned to the ground.
"What the hell is wrong with you can't?" Colby exclaimed, trying to catching his breath.
"You Traitor! I'll kill you." Eiven slurred trying to break free and lunge for Colby.
"I think you need to sleep this off captain." Colby said with a sigh as he helped his drunken captain up.
Throwing Eiven's left arm over his shoulder he started to walk back to the ship, a shell shocked Ember numbly following. Once aboard the ship Ember walked with the men too Eiven's room and opened the door with Colby. By now Eiven, whohad been mumbling Embers name, was sound asleep as Colby tossed him on his bed. Shaking his head he just went out, pressumably to go to bed.
Ember looked down at Eiven confused, why had He been saying her name if she was nothing but a nussiance? Was it possible he had been lying when he had said those things to Felix? And why would he attack Colby like that? Colby had done nothing to deserve being called a traitor or to be killed. Ember just signed as shebslid off Eiven's boots and pulled his covers over his sleeping form. Once she was sastified that he was settled she tiredly walked over to the chair in the corner, curled up in it and fell asleep.
