Ember began to really struggle in his grip, a new strength fueled into her veins by fear. "Look Sir, I think you've got the wrong girl, I don't think you know who I am. I'm nobody important! " She said pleading with the man to just release her. But nothing needed to slow his pace as they approached his awaiting companions.
"Oh no, I have the right girl, Lady Ember Trent of Dover correct?" He spoke as his piercing cold blue eyes turned to meet her bright emerald green eyes, earning a gasp from her. "That's what I thought, now I'm in a bit of a rush, so do stop trying to get out of my grip love."
Ember didn't stop trying to pull out of his iron grip until they reached the pirates. She knew now that she was doomed, six pirates against one girl? There was no chance. Ember allowed her kidnapper to usher her in the rowboat, sitting at the very tip of it and as far away from the men as possible.
Blue eyes actually had the never to chuckle at her discomfort. This only replaced her fear with anger.
"My father will find you, he'll have a whole fleet breathing down your neck if you don't return me." Ember said with a defiant tone.
Now it was his men's turn to laugj. Instead of the amused glint in his eyes, they immediately turned to stone. Ember pondered whether or not she would turn to stone under his gaze.
"You obviously haven't heard of our reputation, I'm Captain Eiven Blain and you my dear are about to board the Black Abiss." Eivens words silenced his men.
Ember froze as her heat beat sped back up. This young, intriguing man was one of the most vicious pirates to sail the seven seas. Although rumor had it he had only appeared four years ago, he had since paved a reputation in blood. He didn't discriminate against any ship, whether it be pirate or cargo ship. Anything that crossed his path was attacked and every battle victorious. Very rarely did he leave survivors. Embers reaction must have satisfied Eiven because his signature smirk had returned.
"Now are you going to climb that ladder or do I have to carry you up?" Eiven asked tauntingly with a wink and his smirk growing ever bigger as an indecent blush crept on her face.
"I'm quite capable of climbing myself!" Ember scoffed.
She gathered up the front of her dress, turning her back to the men to maintain some of her decency and began to climb. By the time Ember reached the top two fairly big men were waiting to help her over the edge of the ship. Once Ember was safely on board, Captain Eiven followed next, jumping on deck with a grace she clearly didn't have.
"Welcome to my ship Lady Ember." Captain Eiven taunted with a teasing bow.
It didn't go unnoticed by Ember that she had gained the attention of all the passing crew members. As Ember looked around the ship and each man's face an overwhelming sense of claustrophobia settled over her. She was trapped and she knew it. Panic started to well up inside of her as her mind spun with all the possibilities of what could happen to her stranded on a pirate ship with nothing but unruly vicious men. Black spots danced in her vision as her lungs started to rejected the air her fast shallow breathing with trying to provide them until she saw nothing but black.
The whole crew watched as Lady Ember collapsed, only saved from hitting the deck by the two men who had previously her her on deck.
"Bloody Hell." Captain Eiven murmured under his breath. "Let me see the girl."
Eiven moved over and collected Ember from the men, only to switch her into a bridal style position.
"Mister Felix, set sail due east with all haste! " Eiven commanded, filling his voice with the authority provided by his position.
Not that he doubted his first mate, he knew Felix was perfectly capable of getting the job done.
"Aye aye sir! You heard the cap't, hoist anchor and drop those sails, we be heading due east!" Felix ordered the men, watching the scramble into action.
Satisfied with Felix's results, he continued his trip to take Ember to his quaters. Laying her down on his bed he took this opportunity to really study her for a moment. Her black hair was pinned in what he could only assume was the latest braided fashion, except for the few loose strands that had escaped their pins when he tackled her in her escape attmept. His eyes moved down to her flawless face, her bright emerald green eyes hidden behind her lids. Her lips small, yet poked out in the slightest pout making them ever so inviting. Eivens head snapped to the movement of Embers hands as she felt the bed underneath her. Her was a ghost of a smile appear on her lips, thinking the whole kidnapping was a dream. That is until those eyes snapped open, wide eyed as she recognized this room was not her own. He watched her breathing accelerate as she back as far away from him as possible, he almost thought he felt a pang of hurt at her movement. But in the end this girl was just the means to an end.
"Calm down love, we don't want you fainting again now do we?" Eiven said, enjoying the now flashing anger in her eyes.
"What the hell do you want with me?" Ember asked, allowing her anger to seep through.
"Such language from a lady! I am truly shocked!" Eiven mocked her. "But as an answer to your question I'm locking you in this room until we're a little further from land. Can't have you jumping over board now can we?" Eiven said spinning on his heels and walking to the door.
No sooner had he shut and locked the door, Ember was at the door banging her small fist against it, yelling all sort of unlady like curses his way. Eiven chuckled, he may make make a pirate out of her yet.
