Chapter 12 (Secrets Come Out. Part 1)

~Zayn's POV ~

Sarah has been in a coma for too long, she only had a panic attack, she shouldn't have been asleep for this long. Holy crap I need a smoke, I know I shouldn't but I'm just so stressed, not only because of Sarah, but also Harry & Lea they are back fighting all the time, and i mean ALL. THE. TIME. Even in the hospital, have some respect maybe?

"I'm going for a smoke, kay?" I said not wanting or expecting an answer, but of corse Louis can't pass up a chance to sass/ piss me off.

"Smoking kills you know."

"So does getting kicked in the head." I said angrily while walking out the door, I didn't mean to snap at him, but I'm just stressed. I get outside and light a smoke, enjoying the taste and instantly relaxing. I'm interrupted by a man who looks strangely familiar, I brush it off and look at him expectantly.

"You right mate?" I lean against the wall.

"Erm, yeah. Do you reckon i could bum a smoke?" He asked far more angrily than I would expect, but I gave him one because I'm technically not old enough to smoke, and if he decided to rat me out well... I have enough stress at the moment. I pass him a smoke without a word, we stand there silently for a moment before he speaks up.

"What you doin' at the hospital kid?"

"Oh... I'm visiting a friend who is in a coma" I didn't want to say anything more, because Sarah wouldn't want everyone knowing about her being in hospital.

"You ?"

"Oh, my horrible step kid is here and i have to sign some stupid forms, I hate that little brat."

"Oh." Is all i could say, I didn't want to say anything because it is none of my business but how could somebody speak that way about anyone, let alone their step kid, this man must be an awful step-dad. We drop into an awkward silence as we finish our smokes, I drop mine to the ground and crush it with my heel. As I was heading inside I sent a nod his way, he only grunted in return, rude!

I got inside and sat down next to Gorgia, she instantly cuddled up to me, I sighed and wrapped my arms round her. I really do love her.

I look around and realise there are three people here that weren't there before. Before I could work out who it was the door flew open and a figure ran in, grabbingSarah and started saying something and violently shaking her, I look at the boys and realise that those three people are Liam, Niall & Tiarni, I nod at Harry and Liam as we run forward and violently grab the man and throw him on the ground while Louis is getting a doctor. He is strong, but Harry, Liam & I are stronger. Louis normally just uses sass to win arguments.

Im sitting on this guys chest, Liam is holding his legs and Harry was keeping his arms down, I finally get a look at his face and realise that i recognise him

"You?! You piece of shit I should have known the way you spoke about your "step kid" earlier! Never contact her again you fuck head!" He shakily nodded and looked up at Harry, he nodded as I looked down at Sarahs step-dad.

"I'm letting you off this time, but if you ever talk to, look at or even think about her, I.. WILL.. KILL.. YOU.." I get up and so do the others. Barry i think his name is wastes no time to get up, but before he can get out of the room Niall steps forward and punches him in the jaw just before Tiarni spins him around and knees him in his private area and pushes him out the door.. Wow, i did not expect that. I looked at her as I settled back into my original position with Gorgia, she just smiled at me and gave Liam a loving look which he returned, she then turned her attention to Niall who was now sobbing.
