Luke POV

So currently Jen has been staying at my place a lot. Right now, she was in the shower and I was having a little chat with Calum over text.

C: cmon luke. Im sick of all this. U kno shes gonna hate u when she finds out that im right.

L: look mate, she wont find out. She trusts me more than herself rn soo... Sux for u i guess. Now I just got her to hook up w me and make u feel the pain i had to go through watching u guys be sappy every shitting day.

C: U sound like a middle school boy right now luke. Be a man and admit it to her. She obviously wont hear me out.

L: god ur stupid, u think talking me into something will work?

C: wtf happened to being my best friend Luke?

I didn't reply after that. He deserved the suffering of losing his girlfriend and best friend.

Jen POV

"Luke? Your phone is ringing!" I yelled. I just got out of the shower and was now scrounging around the kitchen trying to find something to eat.

"Can you pick it up please?" He yelled back from the restroom.

"Yup!"

I picked up the phone, turns out his mum was reminding him to do the laundry.

"Lukeypoo! Mama Hemmings says if you don't do your laundry no Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for you tonight!"
I teased him, still yelling for he was still in the restroom. I heard a slight groan from behind the door. I then realized that Luke's phone was left unlocked before his mom called, so I went to lock it. I couldn't help but notice that he was texting.... Calum? Why the hell would he be talking to Calum? I read the previous texts and couldn't believe my eyes.

The one that really caught my attention was, well.....

Luke's been lying to me this whole time? So, Calum isn't making up the story? I reread the texts over and over, currently in a state of shock. Calum was right.

Just as I put the phone back on the kitchen counter, Luke came out of the restroom.

"Hey so-"

"You asshole! How the hell coul you fucking do that!"

"Do what?"

"Oh don't 'do what' me. I saw your damn text messages. You lied to me and put Calum in the worst position possible. You're an asshole who's obviously too dumb to know not to meddle with other people's relationships."

"You don't realize how much I love you, Jen."

I was speechless. Luke... Loved me?
He continued, " I love you, and me being the selfish asshole that I am caused me to break you and Calum apart."

"So you don't really care about Calum's feelings?" I asked. And he came back with something I wasn't expecting.

"Hell no! Why do you think I did all this?"

"I'm done with your shit Luke." I stated coldly. I grabbed my bag and shoes and walked out the door not forgetting to slam it.
