Chapter Fifteen
I woke up on Saturday to the sun shinning in my face. Ugh! I am so tired. Aubree and I were up till two or later talking. I talked about how Jackson use to wasn't so mean. Aubree talked to me about her ex-boyfriend.
His name was Charles. They had been dating for the last two years. She had a picture of him on her phone still. Charles was a good looking guy. He had shaggy dirty blonde hair and blue eyes. Aubree said that his blue eyes sparkled in the light. Aubree had broken up with him because she was moving here, and didn't want him to suffer.
I wonder what love really is? I've never been in love. I've never even had the chance to be in love anyways. No guy in his right mind would want to date me. No guy. I am not pretty enough for any of the guys.
Love, I thought.
I need too stop thinking about love and get up out of bed. I stood up and Aubree was already awake. She had slept in a chair that was in my room. I tried to tell she could have my bed but she insisted on sleeping in the chair.
"Morning, you hungry?" I asked.
"I'm starving." Aubree said.
"Let's go. I'll cook you something. I better offer the guys something too. It would be the right thing to do."
"Yeah I guess it would be the right thing to do."
Aubree got up out of the chair and went out my bedroom door. I followed her. We walked to Jackson's room together. Only I knocked on the door this time.
"Yeah?" Jackson shouted through the door.
"I am cooking some breakfast if you guys would like some." I said.
"Sure. We will be down in a minute."
"Okay."
Aubree and I were walking down the stairs when she said,"If they pull another stupid stunt like last night, I'll beat the shit out of them."
I laughed. I'm glad I have Aubree otherwise I would be a lonely girl.
