Chapter Sixteen
For breakfast, I made eggs and bacon. Jackson and Nathan decided to join us at the breakfast bar in the kitchen.
"Oh my god, these eggs are delicious!" Aubree exclaimed.
"Thanks," I said.
"Martha, can I talk to you?" Jackson asked.
"Um, sure," I said. I wonder what Jackson has to say to me.
We walked into the living room and sat on the couch. "What are you wanting Jackson?"
"I just wanted to tell you that I am sorry about calling you a bitch," he said.
"Yeah, it's fine whatever," I said.
"I am serious Martha. I am sorry."
"Okay but things between us still won't change."
"Yes I know. Not until you come to your senses and realize you are wanted."
"You are not fair. I went one month being by myself. You weren't alone. You had other friends but I didn't."
"You do now Martha. You have Aubree. I don't see why you need me so bad." Jackson stood up from the couch and walked off.
I need you so bad because maybe I might just love you, I thougt to myself.
