Chapter Twenty-Two
I walked down the hall to Jackson's room and knocked on the door.
"Yes sweetheart?" he called out.
"Aubree will be here soon. Would you mine walking downstairs with me and wait for her. I don't want to go alone."
"Yes I will baby. Give me a moment." I waited a few minutes and then he came out.
"Hey beautiful," he said grabbing me around the waist.
" I am no beautiful." I said.
"You're to me." He said before he started to passionately kiss me. I never knew how much of an affectionate person.
"We'd better go down stairs. When is Nathan going to be here?" I asked.
"He should be here anytime now." Jackson said as we were walking down the stairs. Just when had reached the foot of the stairs, the door bell rang.
I ran to the door and opened it. Outside the door stood both, Nathan and Aubree. Let the games begin! I thought.
