Chapter Twenty-Five
"Mmmmm, this is good Martha," Aubree said.
"Thank you. Jackson helped so its probably because of him." I said.
"Don't be lying to yourself. I didn't do anything. You only wanted me in there so we could give Aubree and Nathan privacy," Jackson said.
I gave him a look but before I could say anything, my phone started ringing from my pocket. I pulled it out of my pocket to see who it was. It was my mom.
"Jackson, its my mom." I said.
"Answer it," was all he said.
I flipped open my phone and answered.I put it on speaker so everyone could here. "Hi mom."
"Hi Martha. When are you coming home? You haven't been home in awhile. We miss you," my mom said all sweet.
"Excuse me? You are the one who kicked me out and told me I was a mistake. Why would I want to go back to that dumb house?"
"Because we want you here sweetheart. We didn't mean in it honey."
"How stupid do you take me to be mom? I will NEVER move back with you. You guys heart me. You guys made me feel unwanted."
"You are unwanted honey. We just want you here so you can do all the work again."
"And the truth comes out. It will take me awhile to forgive you guys. I'll call you in a few years when I am getting married or having a kid so incase you want to be apart of that."
I hung up. Why did my mom have to call me. My night was going great.
"Are you okay baby?" Jackson asked me.
"No," I said and started to cry. Jackson quickly got up and pulled me into his arms.
"Shh! It is okay baby. I've got you. And remember, you may be unwanted by everyone else, but you are wanted by me."
