Hoseok was the one to kick the door down, and he was the first to get a look at the top floor.

What he was met with was a large, machine, similar to a satellite, emitting the loud noise that was taking control of the citizens. It was at the other side of the room, far away from him. There was also a desk with scattered parts, and some colorful, toxic-looking liquids on the ground. From the windows, Hoseok could see the large crowd of mind-controlled people at the base of the building, growing larger and larger by the minute.

The room looked like a mad scientist's lab and, in the middle of it all, stood Doyoon.

Namjoon and Yoongi readied themselves to fight. Hoseok noticed Doyoon wasn't in his suit---which Hoseok was grateful for, since Doyoon's suit was ugly. But that worried Hoseok as well. Did Doyoon have some sort of plan? He'd planted his device on top of the largest skyscraper in the city as well... was this a trap? He must've meant for them to come here. Hoseok just couldn't figure out why.

"Well, well," he said. "The heroes are finally here---and with backup." He nodded in Yoongi's direction. "You kids have had your fun, but play-time is over."

"Dude's got such an annoying voice, damn," muttered Yoongi underneath his breath. Hoseok's lips quirked upwards.

"I'll give you one chance to leave," said Doyoon. "After that, I won't play nice."

"I'm so afraid," Yoongi said dryly.

"And what the hell do you call playing nice?" asked Namjoon. "Revealing our identities? Mind controlling Hoseok? Mind controlling all of Seoul?"

Doyoon smiled. "So I guess that means you're not taking my offer?"

"No chance."

"Then you leave me no choice."

Hoseok's breath caught as he felt his feet lift off of the ground, but this wasn't his doing. A strong gust of wind harnessed him and picked him up, sending him straight across the room and towards Doyoon. Doyoon caught him by the neck with one hand and squeezed. Hoseok choked and panicked, his hands shooting up to attempt to pry Doyoon's hand off of his throat. His legs swung uselessly, and maybe if he was able to get a hold over his panic, he would have realized he had swords to fight with. It felt like his super strength wasn't working, either, and Hoseok felt helpless in that split second.

"First," Doyoon growled, "I'll get rid of this nuisance."

He squeezed harder and Hoseok wheezed, wondering at which point his windpipe would be crushed. As he looked into Doyoon's dark eyes, Hoseok felt like he was under mind control all over again, like there was nothing he could do to win.

The choking didn't last very long in reality. Namjoon and Yoongi jumped into action quick, attacking Doyoon from the both sides. Doyoon dropped Hoseok to defend himself and Hoseok collapsed, gasping for air.

Namjoon yelled something, but Hoseok couldn't hear it over the mind control machine. He stood and unsheathed his sword anyways, unsteady on his feet.

Doyoon doesn't have control of me anymore, he told himself. I can fight. I can fight.

The door behind them flew open again and Hoseok whipped around, ready to fight the intruders, but he recognized the colorful suits of his team. Now that they were all here, maybe something good would come of this fight.

Namjoon was sending laser beams and punches all towards Doyoon, but he kept sending them off course with his wind powers. Yoongi was charging at Doyoon, determined to hit him at close range, but Doyoon dodged that, too.
