THE GLOVE WAS EVIDENCE LINKING TO A MURDERER, so where do you take evidence?To the police. Paige was skeptical about going since she didn't like the Sheriff's station, especially after the bombing caused by the nogistune.

But they had to do it, like they had any choice.

The couple and the Sheriff stood in his office with the glove on his table when he picked it up in his hand after Derek and Paige explained what Peter told him. "I still don't get how this guy has no mouth"Noah said stumped. "How can he eat?"

"Peter didn't get a chance to ask"Derek stated. "He was fighting him off with a tomahawk buried in his chest". "Who runs around with a tomahawk?"Noah asked with a loud, stern whisper. "I carried one for IED removal in Afghanistan"A voice said from the door and the three turned around to see Jordan Parrish standing at the entrance. "It's military and so is that"

"Do you know what it's used for?"Paige asked the man as he walked over to take a look at it. "Well, this one looks like it's been modified"Jordan noticed when the three exchanged looks and then a nod. Noah walked over to the door and closed it, leaving Jordan confused until the Sheriff said.

"Show us..."

And that's what Jordan went to do with a computer and doing what he did with it as the three observed. The deputy sat at the desk, typing on the keyboard for a while in silence until something showed up. "Okay, I think I got an IP address..."Jordan announced when Noah leaned forward. "That means we can find him, right?"He suggested with high hopes.

"Definitely"Jordan agreed. "Especially if-"Before Jordan could finish, they heard wiring from the glove as it moved, startling the four in the room. "What the hell was that?"Paige questioned scared when Jordan faced the laptop again. "I think I found a message"He said, causing the couple to look at it from their angle when something popped up.

"Does anyone recognize the handle 'Benefactor'?"Jordan asked curiously and before any of them could say no, one more thing popped up beside the label. "Money transferred"Derek read out loud. "What does that mean?". "That means this guy is not just a killer"Noah informed, standing up tall while looking at Derek and Paige.

"He's an assassin..."

The group managed to track the Mute's location from the message they saw on the laptop. They managed to find them at the school, but not just that. The schools WiFi. And if anything else about the Mute could get any more confusing than it already was. The three set up and went to the school to find him.

Derek, Noah and Paige walked in quietly, a gun in Noah's hand and one in Paige's as she led the way with a scent in her nostrils. With what happened to Derek, Braeden had started teaching her how to use a gun to protect herself and him. Of course she had to bring the gun with her.

"You know, just because this guy connected to the school's WiFi, doesn't mean he's still here..."Derek said as the three walked through the halls, searching every inch with the small light improvement from the torch in Noah's hand by his gun.

"True"Noah agreed. "But I've seen enough in this school to keep my gun in hand when walking in after dark..."As the three got further down the hall, Paige's scent had finally gotten strong enough to pin point where it was coming from. The janitors closet to their right with a substance flooding out the bottom.

"Like blood..."Paige sighed and Noah shined the light on it before looking at their surroundings to see if the Mute was still there since the blood was relatively recent. "That doesn't make sense..."Derek said oddly. "Yeah, no kidding..."Noah whispered, facing the door they came in from.

"That's not what I mean"Derek stated. "I should've caught the scent before we walked in..."Paige and Noah looked at him concerned when they faced back to the door. Derek approached it, being cautious of the blood at the front, however, when he place his hand on the handle to open the door, Noah stopped him.

"Hold on"He whispered, grabbing his and Paige's attention. "You nervous makes me nervous..."Noah gave Derek a nod, causing to take his hand away so he himself could take a look by shining the torch in the small rectangular window, but he didn't seem to spot anything. So he reached the door handle as the couple stayed behind him cautiously

Aiming the gun, Noah twisted the handle and pulled the door open slowly when it stopped due to a thin wire tied to the door and to something else. Derek knelt down to see what was inside on the ground of the closet whilst Paige continued to stand and guard.

"It's an explosive, a claymore..."Derek noticed until Paige heard a swishing sound from not far behind them. Like pulling a weapon out. She turned her head to see an axe rise in the air. " Get down!"She shouted, pulling Noah away from the wall which the axe hit.

And the Mute came out from the shadows of the stairs for a fight.

Of course, the main target was Derek since Peter said the creature was after him and Selina. He just wanted to get rid of Derek before the young girl. And obviously, Paige wasn't gonna let the Mute kill her boyfriend, so she protected him the most she could, even if the Mute got to him a few times.

When the Sheriff tried fighting him, it was an immediate fail since he was human and only had a gun to protect him which was knocked out his hand. The Mute threw him against the row of lockers and he went to attack Derek with his axes which were presumably laced with wolfsbane like the one Peter was hit with.

During that, Paige managed to grab the Mute's arm and bash him against the opposite row of lockers and throw him onto the ground in the direction of the other. The creature stood back up in a flash, going to attack Paige and Derek but they kicked him away. He went attacking them one more time when Derek twisted him arm and Paige threw the axe out his hand in the process.

They kicked him again a few times to get him weak before pinning his arms behind his back as he struggled, but she stopped when Noah had stood up and aimed the gun at his head. "You have the right to remain silent"He said, catching his breath before circling the creature. "Anything you say, can and will be used against you in the court of law"

When Noah went to the Mute's hands to cuff him, that's when the couple saw Peter coming out of the corner at the end of the hall, standing still and suspicious like. "You've the right to an attorney, if you cannot afford one..."Noah continued on when Peter started sprinting to the creature.

"No, Peter, no!"Derek shouted, pushing Noah out the way and grabbing Paige, protecting her as they crashed onto the ground by the stairs when they heard loud and repetitive slashing sounds. When the three looked up, Peter's eyes were glowing bright blue, blood was splattering onto his face as he slashed the Mute to his death.

He eventually stopped, staring at him with a proud grin of victory, but if that wasn't enough for the three adults watching already, Peter reached into his chest and pulled out what looked like his guts. Peter stared at them before dropping them back onto the Mute and Noah aimed his gun right at the Hale as he and the others stood up.

Peter had pulled out a white handkerchief to wipe the blood of his hands, completely ignoring the gun being pointed at him when he shook his head slowly. Peter turned around and casually walked away down the corridor still covered in blood. "We've learned a better way"Derek said to him in a stern tone until Peter said one thing:

"I'm a creature of habit..."
