It was now Friday, the day of Homecoming.
Everywhere I went, everything I heard and everything I saw was about Homecoming. All I could be reminded of is what Dave had done to me. How he had embarrassed me.
Audrey didn't seem to be interested in me... She wasn't even in the first place, I don't even have a chance with her since she's going out with Quinn, Which is the guy you don't wanna mess with.
Why should I care anyway?
I'm not even going to Homecoming and like I said to Pubbie nothing and no one will change my mind."Hey Tony!" I heard a familiar voice call out.
I turned around to see it was Audrey jogging towards me. My heart gave the same fluttering sensation when I seen her."Oh H-hey Audrey."
"So, how's everything going?" She asked
"It's alright, I mean harder than it used to be after what Dave had done." I sighed
"He's such an ass, you should ignore him. Besides I don't think it should be a bad thing for wanting to be romantic...I think a boy watching romantic comedies are...Cute." Audrey gave a loving smile.
My heart had then melted, I felt my face go red.
"R-really...so, you don't think I'm a loser?"
"No, why would I? Your a pretty cool kid, even if others don't think it."
Audrey's friends suddenly started to call for her.
"Welp, I gotta go. Hope to see you in Homecoming."
"I'll be there."
I smiled watching, as the beautiful honey blossom girl; The love of my life, Audrey walk towards her firends.
She called me Cute. No one ever called me Cute before...Well actually no one ever has gave me a compliment before. I gusse the only person who can change my mind is Audrey.
After school I prepared for the night of my life. I looked through my closet as Pubbie watched. Giving me fashion advice.
"All I have are navy blue shirts." I groaned "Navy Blue plaid, navy blue stripes, solid navy blue, navy navy blue...A-ha! Navy Blue tux."
I pulled out a rather outdated tux that used to be my father's from the eighties when it was his first Homecoming.
"Meow."
"Well what else can I wear Pubbie, this is all I have."
"Meow."
"No, I'm not gonna borrow anything from Dave...Especially his clothes he sweats so much it's concerning...He should see a doctor about that"
I slipped the tux on, it had fit like a glove surprisingly. I gusse when my Dad was my age he was as wimpy as I an now. Which I can't imagine due to how muscular he was before he had died.
I fixed up my hair with some hair gel and showed the finishing look to Pubbie.
"So...How do you like it?" I asked
"Meow."
"What do you mean I can do better? This is all I have."
"...Meow..."
"Well, anyway I'm gonna go, see you Pubbie." I stroked his forehead giving him alittle kiss.
I walked downstairs to see my mother taking pictures of Dave and Shelly.
Dave wore a new expensive tux while Shelly wore a pink strapless dress that seemed to be inappropriate for the school dresscode, I mean like really inappropriate.
