Elliot's POV
I've gotten into the lab that was tremendously dark and kind of gloomy. I was hiding behind a large-sized desk that had a bunch of test tubes, papers, microscopes, basically a lot of science stuff. The one thing I had to get was a test tube full of liquid for a dumb dare.
I swear I'll get Callen back for this, one way or another!
Maybe I could make him drink toilet water...
I kept crawling behind the giant desk, trying not to make ONE sound. Even though Father is distracted by work most of the time, he has a VERY good ear! I tried to get into the kitchen one time to get some candy and he was frying eggs, the sizzling was really loud by the way, he noticed me RIGHT as I open about a smidgen of the cupboard.
Those were fun times, actually. Too bad they're long gone.
I repeatedly keep looking over to see if Father was coming to this desk, making sure that he won't spot me.
Because I know that if he'd spot me, I would probably be disowned and DIE of hunger!
I see that there were a bunch of colored test tubes, one was pink, one was bright blue, one was golden yellow, another one was clear red, looked kinda like water, and the last one was a bit glowy, it was white, but I can still see sparkles all around it.
I guess this one is the most interesting, guess I'll take this one!
I grabbed the glowing test tube and held it in my hand, what I didn't know was that I knocked over a bunch of papers onto the floor. I heard and got a bit, no, REALLY paranoid!
"What was that!?" I heard my father say sternly.
I then begin to hear footsteps walking over to the desk that I was HIDING in!
Well, this is it for me!
Goodbye cruel world, I never really liked Robotics anyways! I'd rather live in a farm!
The footsteps stop by the desk, as I see my father's shadow looming over. Sweat begins to drip down my face, and my heart beating as fast as a racecar. I don't want this to be the end, but I guess I'll have to face the consequences of my own mistakes.
Goodbye life and everything that was boring about it.
"I didn't realize I threw these papers onto the ground, and I thought I was organized." I hear my father say while going to pick up the papers that I knocked onto the ground.
Thank. The. LORD! JESUS!
I REALLY thought I was going to have a FUNERAL right then and there, in which, I would! But, oh my GOODNESS that was a rollercoaster that I NEVER want to go on AGAIN!
Anyway, I got the test tube, now all I need to do is GET out of HERE!
I scrambled myself onto my knees and began to crawl to the door, making little to no sound again.
"Wait a minute..." I hear my father's voice say.
I stood there motionless again. Oh god! Please DON'T look over here! Oh, who am I kidding, I have bad luck with these types of things!
"These papers were supposed to be done this morning! Agh! Keep yourself together Whitlock! Your future of your son is possibly at stake with those damn kids in my house!"
He muttered the last part under his breath, but I could still hear him.I had a good feeling that he hated my friends, saying they were a 'waste of time'. I never thought he would just talk about them behind my back like that though. I got a little irritated by what he said, but I still managed to keep focus on what I was supposed to do.
