Elliot has progressed over the few weeks with his powers, training them every single day with his servant Elaine. It turns out Elaine knew a few things about fights and such, and Elliot was very impressed. They've been using the personal gym that Mr. Whitlock had installed for some reason whatsoever.
Elliot has also been keeping a good lowdown on the people around him, he's been trying really hard to act 'normal' around his peers, trying to not make them suspicious of one thing whatsoever, even if it meant that he had to act or do something silly. It was necessary to keep his low profile.
However, he always had that small feeling of doubt that everything isn't going to plan with his schedule. Like someone is spying on him, trying to figure out his secret. That small cloud of doubt always followed him everywhere he went, and he seems to can't get rid of it.
But, nevertheless, he chooses to ignore the small cloud of doubt and assures that there's no reason to worry.
Right?
Other than that, it's been almost two months ever since he's got his new powers, and he's been catching up very quickly as well, gaining more control overtime. He uses his powers every once in a while in public, but only when no one's there, or when Elaine is in the room with no one else. It's been pretty fun for him.
Elaine and Elliot were chatting in his room, talking about the new motions they were going to do for his training. They unfortunately had to cut their conversation short when Elliot's alarm went, which meant that he had to be on his way to school.
Elliot's POV
Darn! And we were just getting to the good part of the training! Oh well, guess we'll have to speak later.
"I'm guessing that we'll speak later then? After school?" Elaine asks me while I get my backpack.
"Yeah sure! I can't WAIT for this afternoon!" I say excitedly, thinking of all the new possibilities with this new training.
"*giggle* I'm sure it'll be fun." She says, giggling a bit. I was going to walk out of the door, when I stop in my tracks.
I turn around to Elaine, a bit of silence between us, before I begin to speak.
"Hey- Uh- I'm...glad, that you haven't told anything to my father and chose to keep it a secret. I don't know what I would do if you just rat me out!" I say to her, smiling.
"No problem Ellie, I didn't want to cause any sort of trouble between you and your father, and possibly the whole society." She says, the both of us laugh a bit at her joke.
There was that bit of silence between us again, that was before I sprint back and hug Elaine tightly. She jumped a bit at the sudden surprise hug, flinching a bit.
"I love you Elaine...." I say to her quietly in her chest.
There was that bit of silence between us again. I swear that happens almost every time something bad or good happens.
"I love you too Ellie." She says in a sweet voice, hugging me back.
The both of us embrace each other in the hug, before I let her go and leave the room, smiling at her before I left.
I begin to walk down the hallway to then see my father standing outside of his lab room, which was a bit...weird, since he basically stays in that thing 24/7, he probably needs me for something.
I keep walking, kind of hoping that he won't notice my existence, but it failed and he noticed anyway.
"Going off to school?" He asks me in a bored voice. I turn to him with utter confusion.
