What Happened To Me!?

This Isn't Over...

Elliot's POV

We followed Kaikou with her directions to the hospital, some of them being a bit confusing in Japanese- but it was only a matter of time before we were finally in front of the hospital.

"Is this the place..?" I turn to ask Kaikou, she nods as a yes. She currently didn't or couldn't talk, since her was now out of the hospital, her voice was a bit deteriorated, which meant that she couldn't speak for some while.

Josiah goes up to the doors and pushes them open with all the strength that he had. Luckily it did open, it was just that now thousands upon thousands of patients, doctors and nurses were now staring at us.

And unfortunately, one of them recognized Kaikou...

"Hey- that's the escapee!!!" A nurse shouts out to the test of the hospital. We realized that it was our time to retreat.

"BAIL! RETREAT!!!" I yell at them, already dashing off from the hospital door. The rest of them follow me, also running away from the thousands of doctors that were chasing after us.

I begin to slow down and stop at a nearby building, bending over and panting out of breath. My eyes then widen, because I realized-

We forgot about Kaikou!!

"GUYS- WE FORGOT KAIKOU!-" I was about to say, until I saw Kaikou resting in the redheaded boy's back, he had been carrying her whilst running away from the doctors.

"Don't fret. She's safe with me." He says in his deep-ish voice, eyeing the sleepy Kaikou on his back.

"Phew- thank goodness...well, since we clearly know that Austin's not there, where could he be then...?" I ask the others, some of them tried to think about the particular question I asked.

A lighting bolt strikes the concrete ground just at that moment, making all of us jump in fear, and run near me, of course. I look up and see that it was one of those flying robots! They must've spotted us...crud.

They fly down and land onto the burnt out floor that was filled with soot, and they've apparently grown legs! One of them pulls out a small contraption from their body, a bright flashing light begins to shine, it was overly flashy! It moved up and down like it was trying to scan all of us.

"Target Detected. . .Remove All Distractions. . ." The first one replied in a monotone voice. The both of them then generate gigantic claws from their stomach and was about to grab Souna. Souna of course, screams in fear.

I react in the blink of an eye and generate a shield to block the attack against Souna. I then use a single laser from my hand to slice them all in half. My heart was beating faster than ever before...that isn't good...

"Guys...I can't...keep using my powers like this..." I begin to say, taking pants in between. Quincy comes over to help me after I almost stumble onto the ground, almost out of energy.

"I know it seems impossible, but we need to push past our limits, get out of our comfort zone, because in this case...its really needed..." The redheaded boy said, looking over at the destruction of buildings above, however, I felt the sound getting closer....

However, he is right...I have to get past my comfort zone, even after all the sweat, back breaking, and tears I've put into this, I still have to move forward...for the sake of this world...
