The group of councilors rushed to the lobby of their research center, awaiting the arrival of Terik's daughter. The front door clicked open and in came the crew of elves, a figure levitating in between them. She was writhing and shouting profanities to the group below her, not noticing the welcome party waiting for her.

"Put me down you physcopaths!" She demanded. Two elves grabbed from the air and forced her down. They then sat her in a rolling chair and stood back.

The girl immediately tried to run to the door, but an invisible force launched her back before she could. She then felt around the barrier, trying to escape.

"Azalea Dawn Harpen, do you know why you're here?" Noland boomed. She didn't spare a glance.
"May I repeat, young lady, do you know why you're here?"
The girl still ignored him.

"YOUNG LADY, ANSWER ME!" He shouted.

Azalea finally lifted her head, quirking her eyebrow up in mockery.

"Yes?"

"Answer the question. Do you know why you're here?"

"Hmm, that's a hard one," She stood as close to the councilor as possible. "Is it because you and your little cult kidnapped me? The goody two shoe elves aren't so perfect, are they?"

He blinked. How did she know about elves? She lived in a human city, and according to her records, she always had.

"Oh, that? You know, your pathetic little light tricks aren't that great. Maybe you should hire someone to reinstall them?"

Noland blinked again. "Are you a telepath?"

"A telepath? No, I don't need some freaky superpower to tell me what you're thinking. It's written across your face. Seriously, do you even know how to hide your feelings?"

Ramira folded her arms. "How long have you known about our world?"

"Since I was eleven. Also, why do you guys have so much blingy stuff? Like we get it, you're rich, but you don't need to show it off with humongous manors and diamonds and stuff."

Bronte massaged his temples. "That's enough for today. Take her to Crystalhill. We'll go through her memories later this week."
