Raelyn's POV
The plan was ready to go ahead, The Captain had planned out for all the public to help by forcing Ward to drive the long route round to the docks where Sarah, John B and I would snatch the car with the help on the Captain.
John B, Sarah and I where waiting in the grass for the green vehicle to drive pass. The Captain was waiting for him in the road ready to stop him. "Do you think this will work?" I asked Sarah, "I think we can pull this off" She smiled back. The walki-talki that John B had began to work with Cleo's voice.
"They have taken the bait" she spoke through the device, "They are going to be there soon prepare" She finished. "They?" John B titled his head, "maybe Rose came with him or something" Sarah shrugged. Rose was Ward's wife and I believe Sarah's step mother. Suddenly the green car pulled up, it had a huge black crater in the back that obviously had the gold in.
"There it is" John B smiled while looking at the gold. The Captain was ready to do his part, he had placed cones that blocked the rest of the road and told Ward to get out the car. Ward climbed out the car and I noticed that someone else climbed out the car, Before I could see who it was John B pulled me to the other side of him.
"What the fuck was that for?" I asked, he was blocking my sight so I couldn't see what was going on. "Just follow me when I say so" he looked down at me, he then pulled my hand and we crept towards the open road. Once the two people where completely away from the car, John B pushed Sarah to run for the car.
He pulled me along with him and as we entered the open, I looked up to see Rafe was the second person in the car. And he seemed to of been arguing with the Captain. John B noticed I had clocked eyes and saw him, he wrapped his arms round my waist so I couldn't go anywhere.
"Rafe!" I screamed, Rafe looked up and his eyes widened as he saw me. Ward looked behind and his eyes widened as he saw Sarah, "John B let me go please" I begged as tears where brought to my eyes. "Rae?" He seemed really shocked, "help me please" I begged. I wanted to go home so badly.
"Let go of her John B" Rafe yelled at him, John B held me tighter. "Fuck off Rafe, she isn't going with you" John B yelled. Rafe pulled out his gun, I gasped a little as I saw it. "I'll shoot you if you don't give her to me" he threatened. "Give her to me now" he yelled as he held the gun tighter. He pointed it straight at John B, Ward stared aimlessly at Sarah
Sarah ran round the car to see what was going on with John B and I but as she did so Rafe's gun shot as John B, it missed and he threw me in the back of the car, slamming the door behind him. John B sped off, the security where close behind him and he began to go off route.
We crashed into the grass and the car was hidden away from the security car.
Sarah's breathing was heavy, she looked at John B with fear.
"I'm hit"
