Raelyn's POV
After the explosion, Rafe was destroyed but the strange thing was that when he grieved for his father he did cry. It would be shown by a sudden loss of temper and outbursts. It got so much that it drove Sarah away completely. Sarah had dumped John B for smiling at her dad being blown up.
I could understand that.
"John B I know you hated him but you smiled when you watched a man die" I yelled, "it was hard not to smile!" He yelled back. JJ rolled his eyes and Kie got bored of our argument so she pulled me out the house and into her car. "I thought we could go see Sarah, see if she's ok" Kie started the car up.
I nodded as I put my seat belt on and we drove into the main road, "man I feel so bad for Sarah" I sighed. Kie nodded, "yeah Ward may of been a bad man but he didn't deserve it" Kie admitted as we drove into the Cameron's house drive. As we pulled in Sarah had just got off her bike. She had been out.
"Hey" I smiled as I got out the car, shorting the door behind me. She smiled, I could tell it was forced. "How are you doing?" Kie asked as she locked the car. "Good" Sarah's voice sounded rough, "if you don't mind I could really use someone to talk to" she asked. "That is what we are here for"I replied.
She shot a more real smile and we walked into her house. We sat on her bed in her bedroom, I did look for Rafe but he was out. "I'm scared" she began, "why?" Kie asked. Sarah took a deep breath. "It's Rafe, he's trying to man up but it's just scaring me" she explained. "It's like he's gone mad" She added.
Mad?
Damn, it was probably just a phase of grief. Everyone grieves differently. "Well I'm sure it will blow over" Kie smiled comfortably, the bedroom door opened to reveal Wheezie. She was the youngest child of Ward Cameron and was the favourite sibling to both Rafe and Sarah.
"What's up?" Sarah asked her, "I was just wondering who was here" she replied. "Oh you have met them before, remember it wasn't that long ago" Sarah explained. "Oh I know them" Wheezie shrugged before leaving the room. Kie smiled "I have always wanted a baby sister" she sighed.
Suddenly the slam of the front door echoed the room and Sarah let out a shaky sigh. "Rafe's home" she muttered, damn for he to be that scared it must if been bad. Rafe opened the bedroom door, "what you all doing here?" He asked. He seemed normal, he was smiling but Sarah still looked scared.
"Seeing Sarah since she hasn't been too happy lately" Kie replied, Rafe nodded. "Rae can I talk to you quickly" he asked, I nodded and got up but Sarah stopped me. "No don't go with him, what if he hurts you" she whispered. "I will only be like five minuets" I replied.
I walked out the room with Rafe. "I know she's speaking to you. What is wrong with her" He cut to the chase, "she's scared of you" I blurted. He let out a quiet laugh, "scared of me. I'm her brother" he explained. "Well you did try to drown her" I muttered, "yeah because she was trying to put me in jail" he replied.
Suddenly my phone began to ring, I picked it out of my pocket to see it was JJ. "Hello?" I asked.
"We did it"
