Raelyn's POV
"we did it"
I scrunched my face in confusion, "Did what?" I asked. "we found the cross, it's in the church" JJ spoke through the phone. "You're kidding" I gasped, Rafe looked confused. As i looked up at him I knew that if i told him this he might go find the cross himself.
"Meet us at the church ASAP" JJ then hung up on me, "What was that about?" Rafe asked. "Some drama between John B and Pope" I lied, Rafe nodded. "I better go sort it out" I continued to lie and slipped back into Sarah's room.
"hi i'm sorry to brake this up so soon Sarah but Kie and I need to go" I announced, Sarah sighed. "Where?" Sarah asked as Kie got up and walked towards me, she was confused to why we where going so early.
"John B and Pope had an argument" I lied as i still felt Rafe's presence behind me, "Can i come?" Sarah asked. As i was about to turn her down Kie piped up and agreed that she could come and moments later we where sat in a car.
Kie drove down the road, "I lied about the argument. The real thing is JJ and the others found the cross" I smiled. "No way, where?" Sarah gasped, "At the church" I smiled. Kie drove even faster and before we knew it we where at the church.
JJ, John B and Pope where just walking in as we arrived, we climbed out the car and John b rolled his eyes as he saw Sarah. Sarah ignored it and we all walked into the church. Pope began searching for a wooden cross.
"It will be hidden in there guys, we just need to find it" He scattered around hunting for it, "I think we found your cross" JJ smiled as he pointed upwards. A huge wooden cross hung above, "I thought it would be gold" I suggested.
"Have you listened to a word i have said recently?" Pope snapped, "It's inside the wood" He added. "Oh" i replied, Pope began climbing up towards the cross. "What are you doing" JJ snapped.
"Getting us some money" Pope said like it was obvious, he crept over to it. "Mind out there's a wasps nest" JJ warned but it was too late. Wasps stung Pope and he let go, one hand was holding him from falling.
"Grab the pillows" JJ yelled, everyone began to grab the pillows and we placed them underneath so he wouldn't hurt himself when he fell. wasps attacked his hand with stings and he let go, he fell onto the pillows below and let out a sigh of relief.
We all huffed, but then the rotten wood above began to crack. All the wood fell before it revealed a golden cross. We gasped before it, too began to topple down. Pope rolled out the way and it fell to the ground.
"Holy shit" i gasped at it, JJ and John B began to try lift it up. "This little shit wont move" John B panted at the fact it was hard to move. "Little?" Kie laughed, Sarah, Kie and I then also tried to pick it up but it still didn't move.
Just as it was an inch of the ground, Pope began to have a seizure. "Shit hes having an allergic reaction!" JJ ran towards him.
