Chapter 11: Calypso

Rosemary's POV.

I was brought aboard of Sao Feng's ship.

He gave me his captain's quarters and told me to dress up nicely.

And clean myself.

To which I happily complied.

I hadn't taken a bath after we left Singapore to go to the locker.

They made me wear an Chinese like gown.

The girls who were at Sao Feng's side at Singapore washed me and clothed me.

Sao Feng entered the quarters and told the girls to leave.

'By this time tomorrow, we will arrive at Shipwreck Cove and you will be free.

Calypso' Sao feng said softly.

I wasn't sure what he wanted of me.

Barbossa had told me that he was an selfish ass who wanted to have everything for himself.

And I think the thought of having an god bound in human forms with him. Made him feel like the king.

He stepped closer towards me.

He was horrifically close to me and he smelled horribly, he was an old man.

'Not a name you fancy, I imagine, out of the many that you have..

But it is what we call you.' Sao Feng said.

'We being who?' I asked him.

I was going to play along in this game.

He needed to go to Shipwreck Cove. We needed to free Calypso if we would have a chance.

I didn't wanted to be the slave of Beckett for as long as I lived.

I was just freed almost 2 years ago.

Sao Feng walked over to me.

'You confirm it.' he said.

'Confirm what?' I asked him looking a bit sheepish

'You told me nothing.'

'The Brethren Court, not I' Sao Feng started.

The first Brethren Court, whose decision I would have opposed.

And slammed his hand to the wall I was against.

He had me cornered and I'm not sure if I wanted him to do so.

'And if I choose not?'

A look of terror appeared in my gut.

He was going to murder me or rape me.

And he pushed me up against the wall and kissed me.

I was trying to push him off but he was strong

So I scratched him with my nails.

He backed off looking furious but then a cannonball flew right through the captain quarters

Taking Sao Feng with it.

He was pierced through with an piece of wood.

I was ducking and after a few seconds I looked up and saw him making the motion to come closer towards me.

I did what he said and walked closer to him.

'Here.' He spoke.

He ripped out the necklace from his neck.

'With all nine pieces of eight..

Take it!' He said handing it to me.

'Forgive me.. Calypso..' He spoke slowly with his last breaths.

'No no.. Sao Feng. You can't die on me here now..' I cursed at him.

The first mate of the crew came downstairs to tell they were being attacked when he saw Sao Feng lying on the ground.

And me hovering over him.

'what did he tell you' he asked me

'He.. made me captain..' I said looking up towards him tears in my eyes.

You could see the hatred on his face.

And he ran back up the stairs.

And so did I.

Who was attacking us.

Norrington was walking over the ship.

When he saw me getting pulled over by soldiers.

'You are not my captain.' The first mate said.

'Rosemary!' Norrington said and he ran over towards us.

'Let go of her immediately now!' Norrington ordered.

'James..' I said

He pulled me into a tight hug.

'Thank God, your alive!' he said

'Mr. Swann will be overjoyed..' he said with a smile.

'Mr. Swann is dead.' I then dryly replied looking him dead in the eye.

'No that can't be true. He returned to England.' Norrington said.

'Did Lord Beckett tell you that?' I said looking at him.

Norrington didn't answer that question, he was looking shocked.

'Who among you do you name captain!' Davy Jones was heard yelling.

The first mate then suddenly said.

'Her!' She is the captain.

Every crewmember suddenly pointed at me.

To which Norrington looked even more confused.

'captain?' Jones said walking towards me.

'Tow the ship.

Put the prisoners in the brig.

The captain can have my quarters.' Norrington said towards Jones.

'thank you sir.' I replied.

'But I think I will stay with my crew.' I said to him without breaking eye contact.

And I walked over towards the crew. And pushed myself between them.

'Rosemary!' Norrington said. As he pulled her towards him.

' I swear to god. I didn't know..' Norrington said.

'Know what? Which side you chose?' I said.
