Chapter 25: Rosemary Beckett

Rosemary's POV.

I stood on the top of the stairs looking over the crew.

'We have no time.

But it's time I told you.' I said straightening my shoulders.

'When Will and I came to search for Jack.

Will had been sent on a mission to fetch Jack's compass for Elizabeth safety.

And he had hoped for mine. ' I said while walking down the stairs.

I could hear the dead silence the crew had while listening closely to her.

'But I went to see Beckett myself.

And came to the horrifying conclusion.

The compass was only a diversion.

Beckett was out for the heart and for Jack.' I explained.

Taking a big gulp and a deep breath the continue further.

'My job was to fetch the compass.

The place of the chest and Jack.' I let that sink in for myself and for the crew for almost a minute before continuing further.

'And If I would not succeed.

He would hang both Will and Elizabeth. ' I looked towards Elizabeth who was looking at me with huge eyes.

'I'm sorry.' Was what I mouthed to Elizabeth for not telling her.

'And for me.. ' I started and then snickered.

'Well I'd wish he'd hang me.

But I was supposed to marry him. Bare his children and live my live as a slave.

My freedom.. taken away from me again.' I started to speak up and speak louder.

'I went away with Will.

With no intention to do any of that.

I came her to fight!

To make sure we would take his ass down to Davy Jones's locker.'

'No one. ' I said a bit more soft.

'No one!' I spoke up.

'Is ever going to take that away from any of us ever again!' I shouted over the deck.

I was taking all the faces around me in my heart.

This crew was amazing and was doing every possible thing for their captain and for each other.

'Who's with me!' I shouted and raised my sword.

Everyone had been listening and looking horrified towards me.

And it took a second before someone was started to raise a sword for me.

Jack was standing at the rail.

Nodding towards me with a small smile.

A watery smile left my lips.

Elizabeth then raised her sword.

'AYE!'

Followed put by Ana Maria, Pintel and Ragetti and Gibbs.

Then the whole crew followed.

Everyone except for Hector Barbossa.

'Little miss Rivers..' He started.

Barbossa was walking towards me.

He stood at the beginning of the stairs.

I was looking at him straight in his eyes.

With Barbossa their was no telling what he was going to do next.

But then he did the unbelievable thing.

He bowed down on one knee.

'Rosemary Rivers.

You've shown me an courageous young pirate.

With an heart for gold and treasure.

But with a heart full of love and friendship.

I'm not a person to get all sentimental.

But It'll be me honor to fight with you against the East India Trading company.' Barbossa said while standing up.

And raising his sword.

I stood there completely frozen.

Looking at the man who killed my father.

Almost killed me and Jack.

But also the man who helped me bring Jack back.

I couldn't help myself.

But I ran down the stairs and flew against him.

Giving him a big hug.

'Thankyou captain Barbossa.' I softly said before letting go.

'Well.. Let's kill some lord today.' Rose said while turning around to face the crew with a smirk on her face.

'I have been waiting for this.' I said while licking my lips.
