Jack Sparrow's Rose - At Worlds end.

Chapter 24: Part of the ship, part of the crew

General POV.

Rose stood still looking at Jones falling into the depts.

Then she shook her head and ran towards Will, Elizabeth and Jack.

'Is this going to help?' Rose asked while she stroked Will's cheek.

Tears were streaming down her face.

Elizabeth was hovering over his body crying her eyes out.

And Jack was looking helpless towards Will's body and then the sword that stabbed the heart.

'She's taking us down!

Make quick or it's the Locker for us all!' Barbossa yelled towards the crew.

The maelstrom was getting quicker and faster.

And the Pearl and the Dutchman were still connected on top with the masts.

Ragetti put 2 cannonballs connected with each other in the cannon.

And pointed it upwards.

Gibbs fired the cannon and the cannonballs freed the Pearl from the Dutchman.

And Barbossa could take the helm and try to sail out of the maelstrom.

Bootstrap picked up the knife Will left him after their fight.

And looked over towards Will.

Who was being held by Elizabeth.

Trying to keep him awake.

Rose sat on his other side hovering over him.

Elizabeth laid her head on his face.

And Will started to gasp for air.

And his eyes were slowly closing.

Elizabeth started yelling that he needed to stay with her.

When suddenly Jack tapped Rose her shoulder.

The crew of the Dutchman was started to come towards them.

'part of the crew.

Part of the ship.

Part of the crew.

Part of the ship.' Was what they all were mumbling.

Bootstrap came forward holding the knife.

'Elizabeth we need to go..' Rose said laying her hand on her shoulder.

But she was still not believing that Will had died on her.

Jack pulled Elizabeth away from Will and nodded to Rose.

'We need to go now.' He said to Rose.

Jack and Rose grabbed a few ropes. And they held Elizabeth in between them. She was trying to fight to stay here.

'we can't let you stay here Liz.' Rose said while crying.

'I'm so sorry..' Rose said before she nodded to Jack.

He fired his gun at the cannon they had tied the ropes to.

And they flew up.

Jack had tied them to an small piece of sail.

And they were flying in the air.

Over the Maelstrom trying to go towards the Pearl.

But it was hardly noticeably in the heavy rain.

But suddenly the wind picked them up and pushed them on course.

'Thankyou.. Calypso..' Rose softly said towards the sky.

Rose looked down and saw that the Maelstrom started to swallow the Flying Dutchman with everyone on it.

When they were out of the sight of the Maelstrom, the rain was slowly but surely stopping.

And they saw the Pearl.

They fell into the water a few hundred meters from the Pearl.

But the crew had seen them and started to sail their way.

Elizabeth climbed on board first.

Followed by Rose

And last but not least Jack climbed on deck.

Rose directly walked over towards the upper deck and started searching for the ship Beckett was on.

This fight was not over yet.

'Thank goodness Jack.' Gibbs said walking after Jack.

'the armada's still out there.

The endeavor's coming up hard to starboard, and I think it's time we embrace that oldest and noblest of pirate traditions.' Gibbs said to Jack.

'Never actually been one for tradition.' Jack answered.

He walked up towards the helm to stand next to Rose.

He looked at Rose.

And she raised her chin up towards him.

And she nodded.

'Close haul her' Jack started yelling.

'Luff the sails and lay her in irons!' Rose continued his sentence.

'Belay that, or we'll be sitting duck.' Barbossa yelled back.

'Belay that ''Belay that'' ' Jack yelled over Barbossa.

'But capt'n the arma..' Gibbs started.

'Belay.' Jack interrupted.

'the endeav...' Gibbs again started.

'Stow. Shut it.' Jack said towards Gibbs.

And he walked on deck towards the front.

'Don't take my chance away to kill him myself Jack.' Rose then said.

She stood at the top of the stairs.

Watching over the crew, which grew very silent very fast.

Even Barbossa looked away from the bickering he did with Jack.
