Rolling his eyes on his dramatic mother, he led their way towards the car.... it was near noon, sidharth came to take his mother off from pune, his maasi's house.
"Waise, mom... I've a bad and a good news for you!!" "Which one first?" He asked, fastening his seat belt,
" everything alright na bachha!?"
"Yes mom... aap batao!!"
"Bad wala hi suna de pehle!!"
"The jonas deal mom... we lost it!!"
"Sidharth!?... u ok with it!!? Iske liye hi u worked that hard !!"
"Yea mom... i freaked out that day... bohot gussa ayaa .... par....... !!" He refocused on the road,
"Par.??" Rita ji emphasized
"Its ok.... i copped up.... pura to sunlo yaar!!" He whinned intentionally, knowing pulling up shehnaaz's topic would lead to another 'ooooohhh' session,
" although RS EVERGREENS bagged the RIK'S and the TMS'S ... a day before hi gya meeting ke liye.. here only, International collaboration!!" He said with a winning smirk,
"Are u serious?"
"Ha mom.. i felt it a good opportunity rather than clinging to the same point ,it would be more beneficial to move on, and guess what, is saal humara most profitable turn over hone wala hai... I'm way too excited. !"
"Haye.. mera bachha... bohot achha kiya tune...hamesha khush reh!!" His mother gasped, she always knew what cracking up deals meant to him
"Tabhi mein sochu why so woggly-giggly today...!!" Rita ji giggled again,
"Momm.... bachha thodi hu mai!!"
"Mere liye bachha hi hai tu... zyada mat ban.. !!"
The drive was not much of excitement, except some teasings about shehnaaz, with pleasant 90s melody and the mother son duo.... he loved these small rides with his mother and discussing about how's life, the next steps and recalling some purani yaadein. Both together were never less than best of friends, sharing advices to sharing childhood crushes , everything were in the list.
His kinda chill out time. Were he don't have to be The Sidharth Shukla, but only sidharth.
Early of the sun set they reached the Arora's. The ladies reunited along with pammi ji, shehnaaz's mother. Discussing all the way through households and how brilliantly sidharth was up brought and next the topic shifted to how they would clearly let the children decide for the marriage, although according to them sidharth and shehnaaz would make a perfect pair as they are too good friends and their compatibility would never be an issue.
While rita ji was also excited for shehnaaz being her to be daughter in law, and could make sidharth a bit of gharelu,
And maasi, oh my my.. her imagination went beyond the universe. She already knew about sana being in love with sidharth. And got more of confirmation from pree. Moreover, she saw a different glow on sidharth's eyes whenever he was around her, and somewhere her extra calculative mind said that sidharth do like shehnaaz in a way or more than that, and therefore there wasn't any chance of the marriage to be get cancelled as no girl wants it to happen to the person she loves, so it would be a definate yes from her and still if sidharth whines Rita ji was an expert.
