He has been at the highest level of favorability in shehnaaz right now. Most of the times she just hugged him and sniffled. She was breaking. Yeah.... like really, the room was a mess and so was she. Shehnaaz didn't showed up to the table since the revelation. While took an intentional sick leave from university untill the winter vacations got over.
May be her cries could just be on some childish stuffs or her mood swings, what everybody thought. But deep inside her algorithm, there's a scar. The only question she had that why he didn't love her?
And on the other while, he was head over heels arranging stuffs there. He was returning after 3 months. The office forms and the services to be informed.
He started off with his regular routine, morning walks, multivitamins and office deals. But, one thing which added up, was a little sneak peak round in the morning hours of jogging. Not a day he missed going round the Gill's and checking Shehnaaz's room window. Although nothing actually came up, the usual closed window but a times seenu's wagging tail which confirms him that she is awake.
He counted a number of things left in here before they move out actually, some of it were with her, but how he's gonna tell ? He wanted to visit the marine drive last, with her, sit on those rocks again. Groove to music while walking on the Gate Road. And so many.....
It was the night of 22nd already,
"Mom.... packing ho gyi app ki almost??kuch lena hai yaha se?"
" ha... abhi ke liye kuch kapde hai, ho jayenge wo.... thode laddu aur aachar lene hai... waha nahi milta na!!" Ritaji said meekly,
Nodding slightly, he agreed to his mother's wishes, " lelo... lelo.. sab lene ki chakkar mei bete ko hi chod mat jana yaha!!" He said,
" acha? Mai uski taiyaari karu fir? Kuch aur ladkiyon ki bhi khoj hai... bol to baat karu.. hein???" Ritaji played along.
" ayee mom... I was just joking.... !!"
" waise, shehnaaz knows?" She asked,
" nope... not till now....!!" He sighed shrugging his shoulders,
" well, abb jab jaa hi rahe hai... mai soch rhi thi to plan a family dinner, Christmas ke din shayad.... !!" She asked,
" huh... family dinner... ??" He choked,
" ha... fir kab aungi... waise bhi we would leave on 26th already.... last for this time, Mujhe kisi mei koi hard feelings nahi rakhni!!"
" aye... anything for you my love.... aap baat karlo maasi se... It's alright!"
While on the other side, " sana... puttar... abb to bahar aaja... bohot ho gaya... !!" Paami ji it was scoffing at her daughter's sudden change in behavior,
" sana... !!" All in vain,.
" mumma, aajaungi mai... pls... abhi mood nahi hai!!" She replied in a heavy voice,
" baat karle... thik ho jayega sab... jab mujhe problem ka hi pata nahi to... kaise help karungi tujhe!!"
"Aa jaungi mai.. pakka!!" The same reply,
