Life went on to the full swing for both for them. Coping up with the reality and then to sort the mess, both made progress in there own way.
Promising herself, shehnaaz never brought up his topic again, if also she wished hard to talk to him listen to his voice, cry and laugh to him, her mind overcame always with tears, shedding all the knots down. Thats where she found her solution, lone tears always made her lighter to make her ready for the new day again.
Focusing on her studies after the failure of semester, she conpleted her masters in another year, and then getting placement on one of top companies of Mumbai she completed her internship.
"Pree... tujhe kuch batana tha...!!" A nervous shehnaaz asked,
" tu kab se permission lene lagi!!"
" confirmation mail aagaya.. ajj subah!!" She announced,
" kiska?? Wo online order??" Pree joked,
" pree ... seriously? Stevens? Seattle?? Bhul gyi!!?"
" oh acha... hein.. wait what??? Ho gaya???? " pree screamed,
" ha.. ajj subah...!!"
" OH MY FUCKING GOD!!!" pree shouted,
" saanu...... US..... NRI BANEGI MERI JAAN!!!!"
" aye bandari... ruk... baith.. puri baat to sunle yaar!!" .... " mai chali jaungi.... ghar pe sab??? Unka kya??"
" tu pagal hai... mai kis liye hu... tu maar khayegi aagr ye drama start ki to!" " kab se hai joining??? Interview hai kya kuch???"
" ha...ek online si hai chota... matlab orientation jaisa.... probably next month ke end me joining!!"
All their moments flashes in shehnaaz's mind every now and then and how thankful she was to each and every one.
In all this years shehnaaz grew up maturely way too fast. Taking carr of her grandparrnts her parents added to her responsibilities. Getting the oppurtunity to work abroad was a relief to her. The outragious work pressure would lead her to forget everything at the end of the day and maybe to forget everything she was trying all these years.
Sidharth, on the other hand didn't contacted her after the birthday message assuming that may be she doesn't wants to, and then his office works made him drown in. He got a few updates like her getting degree in masters from his mother who kept a touch with her relatives in India and apparantly shehnaaz being pree's bestie brought this news too.
" sidharth... pree ke masters ho gye...!!" Excited Ritaji informed,
" woah... I'll call her, gift to banta hai!!"
"Shehnaaz ka bhi ho gaya!!" She added,
" huh.. oh.. ha... ha.. !!" He shrugged off
He excelled in his deals more than ever that year, grabbing one of the top 5 positions in US.
In all these years, he made more than 4 business trips and 2 of families. Ritaji being the proudest of her son blessed him with full love and prosperity while the Indian mother never left, and showing different photos of girls every month.
While a year later when sidharth introduced Cassie, one of his business partners as his girlfriend, Ritaji seemed to like her as a human ofcourse but not as daughter in law probably.
