"-and that's when the stranger turned around, you wanna guess who it was?" Leafy smiled before going to take a sip of her cherry limeade.

"hmm... Tony Stark?" Pin joked, albeit an interested glint in her eyes.

"pfft, no silly! I mean it'd be funny if it was, but it was actually you."

Pin felt a familiar fluttering in her stomach, and she quickly pushed down all her yearning thoughts before her face got too red. "oh, me?"

Leafy giggled, "yeah, weird right? I hardly ever dream and when I do you're in it? It was actually more of a nightmare, but I'd say that ending paid off." she finished, and checked the time anxiously.

"I was but your knight in shining armor." Pin replied teasingly in a stupid regal accent, still reeling over the fact that her crush had dreamed of her.

Leafy laughed again, she'd found herself doing that a lot more around Pin. "I guess you were, I am sorry to leave you dear knight, but I must take this book back from whence it came now." She said in the same accent as Pin, slowly getting up from the tall seats they were in and reaching in her pocket for some spare cash.

"Don't worry, this ones on me. See you 6th period Leafster." Pin held up her wallet for emphasis, and waved Leafy goodbye as the shorter went to leave.

Pin really would've preferred to join her, but she figured that'd be too clingy. She'd only just started actually finding Pin's jokes funny, and Pin didn't want to potentially ruin that.

...and she dreamt of me...

Leafy huffed as she finally reached the library. "I am wicked out of shape.." she mumbled to herself, as she'd only been speed walking and still ended up winded.

She straightened her posture and checked to make sure she had her ID on her to scan. She pushed the doors open and scanned the room. The usual nerds and clubs were present, the familiarity made Leafy feel secure, before she shamefully remembered why she was there.

Late book, gotta turn that in, right.

Leafy quietly went to the computers, already having had the library database thingies pulled up. She entered her ID number and went to scan the overdue book, then answering the prompt "check out again or check in?" with check in.

She sat the book on the rack where librarians would find and place them back in their original spots, and figured it wouldn't hurt to go ahead and find a new book. So Leafy went back to the computers and searched different key words like 'thriller' and 'horror' before settling on a book of spooky poems.

She checked the books number and went to searching the shelves, only to find something, or someone, else.

...Firey? I didn't think he was a reader...

Leafy was immediately suspicious, and instead of approaching the boy like she usually would, she hid behind a shelf of historical fiction and narrowed her eyes, trying to get a closer look.

Firey was just staring in between the books, it looked kind of creepy to be honest. Was there something behind it? There couldn't be, that'd be stupid.

Maybe there was just a small book she couldn't see from the angle she was standing at? Then why wasn't Firey taking it out for a better look?

This is stupid, I'll just go and ask hi-

Leafy felt her phone buzz in her pocket and turned away from Firey to check it.

Leafy smiled before shooting back a reply.

>Aww puppy!! I've always wanted one but I'm allergic :(

>I have a hypo-allergenic dog at home, you could come see her if you wanted
>shoot sorry, I'm probably interrupting ur library quest! I'll be open to msg when ur free ^-^

>omg yes I have to see your dog
>cya Pin :]

Leafy stared at her phone fondly for a few more seconds than intended, before remembering what she was doing prior and turning back to where she'd seen Firey.

Only to find that he was gone, and she'd totally lost track of time. Class was starting in 2 minutes, so she rushed to grab her bag back from where she'd left it and departed from the library, hoping to maybe encounter Firey on the way to ask him about why he was there.

She didn't though, and she'd already gone back to texting Pin since she was now free.
