Coiny strode into class, feeling a strange sort of boost at remembering Firey's scowl at him and Pin passing notes and giggling like children the entire class. If only he'd known the notes were just single worded and light-hearted insults, Coiny doubts it'd have the same effect though.

Pin and Leafy were both in a different class, so that left him with Firey for what was about to be an entertaining final class of close to 40 or so minutes. And Coiny was gonna make the most of it.

Right as the teacher walked in and class started, Coiny turned to glare at Firey with a smug grin. Soon enough, the boy looked back at him, prompting Coiny to swiftly turn away as if nothing happened.

He could see the other's eyes narrowing in the corner of his eye, and waited for him to look away before tauntingly glaring again.

The two had done this before, but it was always so stupidly entertaining to Coiny. It was probably also the reason he was failing this class but that's on him.

Firey didn't turn his head, he instead glared in front of him as a silent way of saying not now, fuck off. Coiny wasn't going to do that though, that wouldn't be any fun.

The shorter took a spare mechanical pencil and took a bit of led out before tearing a dime sized scrap of paper. He saw Firey glance over as he scribbled on the scrap, before wrapping it around the led.

Firey watched from the corner of his eye as Coiny checked to make sure the teacher was distracted before leaning down in his chair and flicking some small object across the floor, right into Firey's shoe.

Firey, of course, noticed and sent a glare in Coiny's direction before picking up the object to see it was a scrap of paper, rolled up on led. he unrolled the paper from it. Upon reading the note, Which Coiny had affectionately written "Look!!" on with an arrow pointed to his direction, the boy let out a silent sigh and turned to look at Coiny.

Only for his face to go red with anger in a split second, Coiny was flipping him off! The prick!

Almost on instinct, Firey retaliated with a middle finger right back in his direction, to which Coiny replied with lowering his hand from his eye and raising two of the gestures.

Firey raised his other hand as well, resulting in the two boys, one glaring one smirking, sitting in the middle of class just holding up "fuck you!!"s at each other.

That was, until Coiny dropped both his hands and pointed at Firey before putting a peace sign to his forehead. Why does everybody know sign language but me?

Then Firey remembered something, he knew one word in sign language. He'd originally learned a phrase as a joke when he was younger, but not he could only remember one gesture and meaning from it though.

He turned to Coiny with a small but devious grin, before pointing to the shorter, tapping his chin with his thumb twice, and putting a peace sign to his forehead. He had to contain laughter as he watched Coiny draw a complete blank.

Gotcha!

His victory was short lived though, and he was again being flipped off by his rival, and he's too competitive to let that slide. He sent double middle fingers first this time, resulting in the other doing the same.

"You two! Got something to say?" their teacher, after finally catching on to this stupid back and forth, had spoke. Firey quickly moved his hands into his lap, Coiny laying his on his desk.

"Use those outside of class, right now you are to be paying attention." Firey felt kind of bad, this teacher just sounded really tired being honest. Not too tired to turn back to the board and continue doing whatever they were before, Firey hadn't been paying attention.

That wasn't his fault though. He sent one last glare to Coiny before opting to at least try to ignore him for the rest of class. His efforts being fruitless though, as Coiny had continued to to make small annoying gestures and movements, ruining any chance of either of them focusing on class.
