When your mother arrived home from work that afternoon, you gather your courage and prepare yourself to tell her. It was difficult since the two of you were never really close. You could only hope she took the news well.

"Mom."

"Y/n."

"I need to talk to you."

"It'll have to wait. I have an important call to make."

"No, it can't wait."

If you delayed telling her any longer, you probably would've never told her and she'd find out on her own.

"Y/n, I'll get to you in a few. I said wait a moment."

"Mom can you just listen to me for once? This is more important than a phone call. It'll only take a minute."

"Don't be disobliging. I told-"

"I'm pregnant", you quickly cut her off.

Probably not a good idea to just blurt it out like that, but at least now the news was out there.

"What?", she says putting her phone down and staring in your direction.

Your gaze drops to the floor and you don't answer.

"Y/n, repeat what you just said."

"I'm pregnant...", you repeat, eyes still on the ground.

"How did you manage to get yourself pregnant? Who's baby is it?", she started shouting.

You already knew she'd be mad, even more so that Terushima was the father. She never liked him back when you two dated.

"Who's baby is it?", she reiterates.

No answer. Maybe you shouldn't have told her...

You see her hand lift and braced yourself for an impact. One which never came. Slowly lifting your head up, you see her pacing around the room furiously, rubbing her temples before stopping in front of you again.

"How far along are you."

"About three months..."
