Yūji was out for most of the day with his friends, something you wished you could've done if it weren't for you always being too tired or having back and leg pain. You didn't think you'd have to go through these changes until your third semester but it kind of just happened.

When he returns, you hear a knock on your room door.

"Come in", you say in response not looking up from your laptop.

He enters and walks over, sitting on the edge of your bed. "What are you doing?"

"Setting up my schedule and choosing classes for the semester."

"Already? That's still far away. You have time."

"Time? We go back in three weeks and that'll be over before you know it. You should be doing the same. And can you please get off my bed? You smell like outside."

"Whatever. So you've just been inside all day?"

"Yeah, Atsumu was busy."

"I forgot he's like your only friend."

"That's one more than you have", you respond rolling your eyes.

"What's that supposed to mean? You think I don't have friends?

"I know you don't. Those frat boys are not your friends. You only hang around them because you all have money. The last real friends you probably had was from your team back in high school."

"You may be right. But unlike you, I still keep in contact with them."

"If you think about it, most of my friends dropped me when I started dating you so it's kinda your fault. I never would've made a move on you if I knew you dated one of them."

"To be fair that wasn't my fault."

"Yeah right. Help me fix up the rest of my schedule while you're still here."

"What do you have so far?", he asks.

You hand him your laptop.

"You're only taking morning classes? 8 AM here isn't the same as 8 AM back in high school. You sure you don't wanna stick to online classes?"

"I already told you I'd do that for the spring semester after I give birth."

"You just have everything planned out don't you? By the way, I spoke to my mom the other day. She's been asking about you."

"I haven't seen your mother in ages. How is she?"

"As good as she can be. She's been wanting to see you."

"Well I'm free anytime she's ready."

Some more minutes passed and you were done fixing up your schedule but Yūji stayed back as you guys continued to talk and engage in random conversations.

Somehow the space between you two was slowly closing until he was sat right next to you. You were confused as to how you both ended up in this position but didn't question it. He eyed your face then your lips, as you did his.
