I Can't

I pull back, staring into his beautiful, lustful eyes. "I can't," I whisper.

He nods. "Just kissing," he mumbles. We go back to kissing, butterflies rising in my stomach. "Babe, are you okay?" He asks as he pulls back.

"Yeah," I lie.

He sits up, pulling me onto his lap. "Tell me what's wrong," he says dominantly.

He wraps his arms around my waist. "I'm nervous," I admit.

He sighs deeply. "We aren't going to do anything, if you don't want you. You don't have to be nervous. I'm not going to force you into anything like that," he says assuringly.

"That's the thing. I want to, but I don't want to," I whisper/whine, looking down at my hands.

He lifts my chin so I'm looking into his eyes. "Babe, you tell me if you want to. If you don't, we'll lay down and watch movies. We'll do whatever you want, okay?"

I nod and pull off his shirt. "Lay down with me," I whisper.

He nods and carries me upstairs. He holds his hands under my thighs to support me. He lays me down and turns on the tv. "I love you," he whispers as he lays down.

I look up at him. "I love you too," I mumble. He smiles as I bury my face in his neck. I trace his abs in awe. "Babe?"

"Yeah?" He rubs my back.

I entwine our legs. "Last night when I sat up, I had a dream about us."

He shows me a half smile. "Oh yeah? What about us?" He asks as he pulls back a bit to look at me.

"You were playing outside with our daughter and you called me out there because she wanted to talk to the baby in my belly," I explain.

He smiles ear-to-ear. "You're so cute, babe." He kisses my nose.

I close my eyes, smiling. I eventually fall asleep in his loving arms.

~~Two weeks later~~

Ross slept over last night. Actually, all of Riker's siblings did. They're leaving for tour today, and I'm going.

Everyone is in different rooms, getting ready. There's a knock on my door. I quickly throw on a shirt and open the door. Ross stands there with a rose. I smile and pull him into my room. "For you, beautiful," he smiles as he hands it to me.

I take it and set it on my desk before wrapping my arms around his neck. "Thank you, babe," I whisper. He rests his hands on my hips, pecking me softly. There's another knock on the door. "State your name!" I giggle.

"Rocky." Ross jumps and lays on my bed.

"It's open," I say as I sit at the computer desk.

Rocky walks in and smiles. "You're always in here," he says suspiciously to Ross.

Ross smirks. "I'm her favorite uncle."

Rocky looks at me. I shrug. "He's got you beat dude," I laugh.

"I know you guys are a thing," he states quietly. "Rydel told me, but said you guys broke up."

Ross nods. "We did," he growls.

"Really? I wasn't asleep when you guys were making out in the kitchen last night. I'm not stupid," he says in a 'duh' tone.

Ross looks at me, licking his lips. "And I wouldn't mind doing it again."

Rocky looks between us. "Yeah, I'm leaving." He walks out of the room.
