"Y/n, Darling! Come here." Queen's voice suddenly boomed from a different room in her mansion.
I set down the rag I was using to wipe dust from the many fragile vases Queen had laying about.

"Coming ma'am..!" I call back, dusting off my clothes quickly before rushing to Queens's call.

"Need something?" I asked, joining her in the room she called from.

"Mhmm," she turned sharply, hands planted on her hips.
"You're a sweet...thing, aren't you?" she asked, coming closer to me. "I uh-" I searched my brain for an answer, not sure if she was genuinely asking me a question.

"I'm not sure ma'am," I answer honestly, not too confident in knowing myself since I've been so focused on tending to Queens every need for practically my whole life.

"You're so coy~" she hums, holding a finger up to her lips.

"You've always been that way...haven't you?"

She tilted her head, taking a couple more steps closer till she was practically hovering over me.

"I'm not sure." I answered plainly,

Queen smiled, tucking a finger under my chin to make me look at her.
"See? There you go again."

Her voice was smooth, relaxed. She seemed to only speak to me that way, which I didn't quite understand... She seemed to treat me differently from her other workers.

"Sorry Queen, but I don't think I understand what you mean." I took a step back, moving my face away from her hand.

"Do you need something?" I ask again, hoping to get directly to the work instead of standing around bantering.

She watched me for a moment in silence, slowly bringing her hand back to her side.
"It appears not... My mistake," she called off, turning around as she waved her hand back and forth.

"You can go now."

I blinked at her odd actions, brushing it off.

"Okay, ma'am."

I returned to the vases, picking up my rag.
"Hm.." I stared off at the rag covered in dust and dirt, I squeezed it tightly before shoving it into my pocket, abandoning my previous job as I walked away.
The halls were eerily quiet today, not a single Swatchling insight.

'Maybe they got everything done already...'

I entered one of the main rooms where Swatches Color Cafe sat, waiting for guests to serve.
