The past couple of weeks everything has felt... Off. Friends that I care about deeply have been disappearing so suddenly and the ones I still have, have been acting rather strange. Specifically Susie, I've known her for almost a year ever since I moved to this small town. Except, the past couple of months she has been acting clingy, and would glare daggers into the souls of whoever got near me.

I kept meaning to ask her if something has been up but I could never find the right time to talk.

...

Today I decided to visit Kris, we had a school project that we had to do as a group, so we decided to work on it together, including Susie.

Glancing up from my gaze on the sidewalk I spot Susie coming from the opposite way, stopping in front of Kris's small adorable house I wait for Susie to get closer, realizing she seemed to be in some sort of deep thought. "Hey Susie!" I perk up, waving above my head, catching her attention quickly.

"Oh, hey dummy." she snarled smile creeps from the corner of her mouth.

"Guess I got here just in time" I tilt my head grinning, stepping up to the brown-haired boys house, knocking gently but loud enough to catch the attention of those inside. Without even a gap of hesitation, the door swung open, revealing Kris in his usual attire.

"Hey rice krispies" I call him by his nickname, stepping into the house. Earning a small smile, along with a wave from Kris. In behind me followed Susie, Nothing but silence came from her statur.

"Well, should we get started?" I clasp my hand together, ready to get this project finished. I looked to Kris, seeing a small nod as he closed to door. Kris then began walking off to his room as we followed close behind.

Once in his room I watched as he pulled out posterboard from under his bed, sliding it onto the floor, along with pens, markers, and other objects that would help us create the poster.

I reached into my backpack, grabbing onto a red notebook, I placed it on the floor in front of me. "Alright, all the notes are in here, we just need to write them down." I smile at the two others, grabbing onto a pencil to start sketching out the title. Kris nodded, pulling the notes closer so he could begin writing.

I glance up at Susie, she sat with her arms crossed staring down at the posterboard that laid before her. "Are you going to help Susie?" I ask quizzically, tilting my head.

Her eyes wandered to mine, widening ever so slightly as our eyes met contact. "Tch, Er... Fine." She mumbled, darting her eyes away, grabbing a random marker she began scribbling doodles on the paper. Arching an eyebrow I decided not to say anything, glad she was at least doing something.

..Moments Later..

After finishing the poster we stared down at it in victory, "Thank god." I mutter, scared we were going to turn it in late.

I turn, glancing outside, the sky was dark. Time really flys by sometimes.

"Hey! We should watch a movie!" I cheer, grinning at the Kris and Susie. I watched as a smile formed onto Kris's lips, nodding quickly. "Sure, whatever." Susie glares at the floor, arms still folded together.

"Yesss!" I shout, rushing downstairs we all gather in the living room, flicking on the T.V to find something to entertain ourselves, eventually settling on a show we all had mutual feelings about.

Sitting between the two I could feel their body heat radiating onto me. We were all sitting in silence, the only noise coming from the show. Little by little I could feel sleep trying to engulf my consciousness. I felt my head slowly lean onto Kris, too tired to lift it back up.

Soon I feel his warm hand lay on top of mine, squeezing it lightly.

From the other side of me I feel Susie's bodyweight adjust, making me lift my head back up from my tired state. I look over, seeing Susie walking away. Slinking by the kitchen I watch her hand grab something from the countertop, but the area was too dark to see what.

"Wacha' doing Sus'?" I ask, sleep layering my slurred words.

"Bathroom." She states, disappearing into the room she was claiming to go to. Realizing I had to use the bathroom as well, I decided I would go after she was finished.

I let my self daze off into nothing, waiting for my turn.

...

Feeling a weight press down next to me, I snapped back, realizing I could go now. "I'll be right back," I say groggily, standing up from the couch.

I wander into the bathroom, closing the door. Doing my business I walk back to the sink, washing my hands I start to daze off into the streaming water.

Shaking my head I snap out of it, turning off the water I look up into the mirror. Spacing off at my own face. "..I should go home soon.." I mumble, realizing I should leave so I can sleep in my own bed.

I go silent, holding my breath to hear better, the subtle sound of shuffling and thuds could be heard from the living room. Worried, I open the door, letting my eyes adjust from the sudden contrast of light. I look from the empty couch to two silhouettes on the ground, Susie hovered over Kris, pinning down his limbs as a knife held closely to his neck, almost piercing the skin. Light from the T.V lit up their bodies, causing an ominous atmosphere.

"Susie!" I yell in pure fear, not able to believe what I was seeing. Susie's face turned from Kris to mine, anger in her eyes vanishing into sorrow. Her snarled teeth vanishing into a guilty frown.

I step closer holding out a hand, but retreating it quickly. "Susie... What are you doing?? Please... Get off him!" I desperately try to convince, not wanting either to be harmed.

I look down at Kris's face, sweat dripped down, his hair covered his eyes but I could tell he was terrified for his life.

"W-Why are you doing this..." I stutter, creeping closer, "I-" Susie tries speaking, "I don't want anyone to have you... I want you to love me Y/n, and only me.

Her voice sounded broken yet demanding and harsh. I could see tears welling in her eyes, light from the tv making them more noticeable.

"Susie... What are you talking about?? I do love you. I wanted to tell you but I was scared you were growing distant." Susie's eyes widen, her hand pulled away the knife, dropping it onto the floorboards with a 'thud'.

"Y- you do...?" She asks, doubt filling her eyes. I crouch down to her level, grasping onto her shaking hand. "Of course..." I smile, wiping away tears from her face. "Now, please calm down, and get off of your friend, Kris." I put emphasis on the 'friend' letting her remember we don't hurt people we care about.
