Same time that night, Y/n once again walk Wonjin home after riding a bus towards his place, the whole village was quite and full of big houses, once with rich personality in.
The night sky was pretty, and so was he. Probably the thing she can't afford to deny, he was attractive, probably too much. Wonjin always had this innocent face, it's just his attitude that was showing his bad side.
Staring onto his side profile, Y/n decided to take action and pull up the hoodie of the jacket he was wearing to cover his head. Wonjin aswell was stopped because of the sudden concern, also the night was cold.
Y/n's brows furrowed after seeing Wonjin stopping upon walking and turn to face her with a cold yet soft face. It was new, it felt different aswell. It doesn't look like she was facing that Wonjin she had a fight with from the first time she ever talk to him, it felt like it's not those familiar chaos like before.
"What?" she asked, confused about why was she suddenly giving her this kind of phase. "Is it still not that warm enough?" she asked again, literally not knowing what she meant by that, she just want words to barricade what she fells, cause she know it's not a normal thing anymore.
"Can you hug me?" those came out like spit on Wonjin's lip, it felt he didn't even hesitated to say it as he waited for answers from the girl.
Y/n was left confounded from that kind of favor, or was it? It was somehow new to be said from someone who's called 'the bad boy' of the school who does nothing but making students life miserable and made the Detention room as his own comfort zone.
"What do you mean?" she asked, knitting her brows as she return the gaze on Wonjin.
Her voice said nothing but confusion, but the next thing that had happened caught her off gaurd. Wonjin suddenly wrapped his arms around her waist, burying his face on the crook of her neck as he enjoyed the warm sensation he was receiving because of the hug.
He don't know how to explain, she felt warm. It somehow felt familiar, it somehow felt like that one the same hug from the person he missed the most. His Mom.
"Is this the Angel Mom told me about?" he suddenly asked, Y/n was still frozen on her feet as she stood there, not even returning the hug.
"You felt warm," he added, and she could feel those smiles from her skin as the urge of hugging back started to enter the business of her mind.
Soon, her hand slowly rouse up from the side as it went to press on the latter's back, hugging him gently as she gave it a light pat.
For the fact that she doesn't even know about Wonjin's Mom made her more curious to the point she wants to ask so much question about it.
But seemed like Wonjin doesn't need anything right now but comfort, the hug was something she can't even have complains with.
However, those fluttering feeling she had from last time were still there. She find it hard the she couldn't even explain it. She doesn't know what to call or what it was but she was sure it's not just simple sympathy over him.
The next day, Y/n had entered school again. She has to wait three more days before the competition starts. All she can do now was too study more and memorise those things she can use if ever she's close to failing.
On that early afternoon, instead of going to the cafeteria and have lunch, Y/n decided to spent her hours inside the library to concentrate.
She found the place peaceful since it wasn't that crowded at all, especially in lunch time.
Wonjin on the other side sat with his friends as he ate his lunch inside the cafeteria. All was well, until he felt Hyeongjun kicking his feet under the table.
"What?" he asked, pausing from munching with his food as Hyeongjun pointed at his back with his pouting lips.
Confused, Wonjin shortly narrowed his eyes before turning around to see what it was. A sigh left his lips as soon as he saw the person, ignoring it as he faced the circle once again.
"Since when did he even got here?" Taeyoung asked, eyes widened as he tried to even have a glance on the person he meant.
"Just this morning? I don't even know why Dad accepted the favor for him to be in this school," he sigh down before taking another spoon full of rice from his tray.
"Maybe because you're not going too good on your studies?" Jungmo said which made everyone went silent as each eyes darted on his figure, all staring at him with disbelief.
"That was harsh," Seongmin mumbles before continuing to eat his food, not even caring if his Hyungs would ended up fighting in the middle of lunch time.
"Okay, Jungmo that was not a nice joke to say," Serim as the older one, tried controlling the situation especially the glare Wonjin has for Jungmo.
"Well, if you look on the other side it's actually true" Minhee said with a chuckle before unexpectedly receiving a smack from Hyeongjun.
"Wonjin?" a sudden call from behind made the group in complete silent as Wonjin closed his eyes upon hearing his name being called, his fist clenched above the table before he got up turn to meet him.
"Look like you're enjoying some talk, can I join?" he asked, those words were nothing but threads of anger for Wonjin, he hated his words. He hates him.
"Find a group of your own," he said, rolling his eyes and was about to walk away when he was stopped by the same person, gripping onto his arm as he turn his head to meet his eyes.
"Don't you miss you're own brother?" he asked, slyly smirking as continues to stare directly onto the younger's eyes.
"Who the fuck even said you're my brother?" Wonjin growled in a whispering volume.
His friends started to panick aswell as Allen tried escaping the scene to get out from the cafeteria, literally on his way to call on someone who would be a total help on this kind of situation before Wonjin could end up making chaos once again.
"Disrespectful," he said, smiling which made the anger aroused inside Wonjin even more to the point where his stare could totally kill.
The people inside the cafeteria seemed to enjoy the show aswell as they all paused from eating and watch the two having tension.
"Maybe this is the reason why Dad wants me to take your place inside the business world," he said.
Wonjin started to clenched his fist as his stares continues to dig right upon the latter's soul.
"You're too uselessㅡ" the guy didn't have enough seconds to tail off another word from his sentence after receiving a strong punch from Wonjin as the whole place was filled with gasp.
"Ham Woojun," Wonjin began to spoke, probably the first word he said after receiving all those nasty judgement from the older. "I don't care about your business or what you want, leave me alone" he added, glaring.
Woojun who seemed to cope with the pain he just receive on his cheek, got up from the ground as he wiped his stained blooded lip with his thumb.
"Why would I?" he said, chuckling to even trigger the younger's temper, but before Wonjin could engage another punchㅡ
"Wonjin stop," a voice echoed against Wonjin's ear as he turn to meet Y/n wearing a straight face as Allen quietly stood behind her.
Wonjin scoffed as he turn to face Woojun for a second.
"You're lucky," he said before walking to exit the place, bumping on Y/n's shoulder on purpose before walking out of the scene.
After Woojun had fix his posture, he gave Y/n a smile. Yet she didn't even gave a response about it and just stared at him with the same look Wonjin had a while ago.
"Thanks," Woojun said, stepping closer to her.
"I didn't do that to help you," she said before turning around and walk away, following Wonjin's direction as everyone's eyes turn to where she was heading.
