32. Truth Revealed

"Are you sure that Joondae was the one you saw? I mean... it's been years already and also, it wasn't your fault, that stupid thing was his choiceㅡ"

"That stupid shit happened because of you either," Jay immediately shut his mouth after hearing Y/n talked, all of them was noe currently sitting down on the kitchen to talk. Heeseung who was just silently listening immediately went between the two before another trouble could take place.

"Stop," Heeseung said. With that, the two younger immediately went back to sat down, both facing each other and neither of them was even on the mood to drop their pride off. "You two should really forget about that, just like Jay said... it's been years"

"Y/n got the point thoughㅡ" Sunoo spoked, walking towards them with a bag of chips on his hand. It was weird seeing 8 teenagers talking about something like this when it fact it was like a suicidal situation for Y/n herself.

But from what she saw last night, it break her heart to see her younger brother in a place like that. He looked so scared when she saw him, she really wish that she had more time to free him, but luck wasn't on her side either ways.

"I meanㅡ why did we beat up Joondae again?" Sunoo asked, making everyone shrugged in response as he once again ate his chips as if he didn't even just say a word.

"I also find out something last night," with that, everyone's head turns to her. Wonjin who had just stepped down from upstairs immediately hid himself against the wall, not wanting to break the conversation the group of friends were currently having, instead he just stood there, wanting to listen in silence.

"And I guess this one is what's more important..." she added, making it everything more interesting as Wonjin slightly turn his head to meet the window that was facing his side only to see something shining from afar. He furrowed his brows in confusion, still waiting for Y/n to talk but his fucos wasn't in it anymore. Until...

"Wonjun's Mom shouldn't be blameㅡ"

With that, Wonjin found himself being grabbed in someone's arm before a bullet could even hit him, resulting for the glass window to break. He started to shake in fear, fingers trembling in the most visible way as he can't even contain to gulp and when he turn his head, he realised Y/n was the one who grabbed him. Her fast reflexes saved him once again.

"Okay, I take it back. This isn't a joke anymore!" Ni-ki said before hiding behind Heeseung as everyone stayed still before seeing someone exiting the rooftop from the closest corridor. "Who was thatㅡ"

"That bitch!" that was the only thing that left Y/n's lips before ranning to exit the door, and probably would be ranning after the guy who almost took Wonjin's life for the second time. Anger just got her, and it's gonna stop her from crashing someone's head under her toes. Wonjin who was left with the others also was about to follow when Heeseung held him back, yet let Jay and Sunghoon followed her. And of course, she wouldn't be too happy if ever she find out that Wonjin chased after her.

"Uhm- what's going on?" Ni-ki started to ask, mindlessly before finding himself being smack on the back of his head by Sunoo.

Until then, Heeseung received a short text from Heeseung. Wonjin's eyes stayed on the front door, his mind travels to Y/n's space, imagining what's happening. He was scared, not just for his life but also for the girl he loves, never thought someone out there would be willing to risk everything for him.

✉️| Y/n: Hee, take Wonjin with you back to their house, we'll be right there after this.

"Who's that?" Sunoo asked, pointing at the text message before seeing Heeseung taking out his car keys from his pocket, making everyone raised their brows in response.

"We need to go," he said, more like demanding things up before grabbing Wonjin's arm.

"Says who???" Jungwon asked, following the eldest as he sneak towards the car that was just parked outside the backdoor of Y/n's house. "What about Noona?" he added.

"What if Y/n comes back later?" Wonjin asked, nervously, obviously he was still in shock about what just happened, he was never used of hearing a gun firing and also, he almost died moments ago that won't budge some trauma off. "We should at least wait for her," he told everyone, finger tips turning cold.

Heeseung who just opened the backseat for him immediately halted and turn around to face him before began talking in the most calming way. "She told me to get you out of here, she'll meet us back at your house, we have to go there now" he said, trying the best way to keep everything in balance since also, he had three kiddos with him and that was an awful excuse, they're literally in danger.

"Butㅡ"

"No buts' Wonjin," Heeseung said, dragging him slowly towards the backseat of the car. "Trust Y/n... she's smart enough, she knows what to do" he added before closing the door on his side before signing the other five to get inside aswell before he proceeded towards the driver seat, driving away from Y/n's residence.

As for Wonjin, sitting behind the car, he immediately took his phone out from his pocket before typing a text message for Y/n.

Ranning down the alleys of the space she was lead to after chasing down the gunman, Y/n tried hard enough to get more closer by changing pathways to another as shortcut in order to catch, and she was just finally meters away, she didn't even bother to be concern before grabbing the guy's collar from behind, stopping him by choking as she kicked his knees from behind before he could even ran away.

Turning him around, Y/n pounded the older upon the nearest wall in burst. Her eyes tells.

"You stupid bastard!" she shouted before throwing a punch over the guy's face. Jay and Sunghoon came aswell, both panting heavily before finding the girl on a rage.

"Y/n," Sunghoon tried calling calmly.

Yet Y/n had already had enough, the fact that her brother is currently on someone's territory and the person she cares a lot has a burning flame running down the threads of his own life. If only she could blow that fire off then she can guarantee about someone's safety, but now... things were still hopeless.

With his nose bleeding, the guy tried to open his almost dowsing eyes before meeting the girls.

"What do you know? Did Wonjun hired you? What's his connection with Joondae you freak?!" she started to shout, mercilessly as she tightened the grip upon the guy's collar. She wanted to cry, but she just can't. Her heart hurts a lot but her feelings doesn't want to show off either. She was torn but also too strong to be devour in total breakdown.

"I'm not spilling a thing," his words just fire the last draw of bomb upon Y/n's head before she throw another punch upon the guy, leading him to lose his consciousness.

Letting the guy fell off the ground, she then around to face the two, tears were already tracing down her checks but it seems like she didn't even know, she was clueless. Her knuckles were bleeding aswell, but her focus was still on someone.

"Let's just bring him with us," Jay said, suggesting as Y/n finally lift her face towards them. "We can make him talk," he added only to receive a quite nod from the younger.

"I already texted your uncle, he's already on his way here" Sunghoon said aswell. Both were looking concern towards her, they know how strong she was but deep inside, she's still that fragile kid they once met.
