Alex's POV

There's no school today. Apparently someone had a gun on them in the neighborhood so school was cancelled. I got myself some breakfasts and ate it. As I was eating Dad came back home. Honestly he was gone the same time the person with the gun was caught. Probably a coincidence... I would like to say that but you don't know BD shut the fuck up I'm thinking right now Yeah you don't think I know that? But yeah he was there...it's on the news. Maybe... No, no no no no no..no. Sure he may have a gun..but who doesn't? He was just out of the house when the person got caught. Pay attention he's looking at you.

BD was right, Dad's looking at me. "What's wrong..sir?" I asked him. He leaned on the door. "Ever wanted to know how to use a gun? Well I'm teaching you now. Get the hell up and get changed," he told me. I do as he says and I finish my breakfast. "Make sure to wear something that you can run in like some leggings or whatever," he adds on. I went to my room and put on some clothes appropriate to the lesson like a tank top, some green camouflage pants, boots, and some gloves. I grabbed my phone and headphones. I get a little nervous because I'm learning how to use a gun and because this lesson is from HIM. With the nervousness I glitch. Badly. My neck's bones were cracking and popping. I was going a bit mad. But all of that ended when I hear dad say, "HURRY UP WE DON'T HAVE ALL DAY!" Which I look into the mirror and glitch one more time just to get it all out. I grabbed my stuff and went outside my room with my cat following me. "I didn't expect you to dress like you're ready to fight in the military. But you never get what you except so I won't judge. Anyways let's go," Dad said while grabbing the car keys. I gave my cat some goodbye pets and leave with dad.

Glitch he might hurt you. Oh please he's done that in a matter of a few months and years. But- Shut up BD I always wanted to know how to use a gun so don't ruin this for me.

We arrive at a Forrest. It was kinda dark. I see dad grab his gun out of his pocket and he loaded it. I heard some footsteps behind me so I turned around and saw nothing...well I saw some black. I went back to dad and see him giving me the gun. I hesitate but grabbed it. He gets behind me and grabs my hand and aimed it in front. "So all you want to do is look out straight while holding it. Then you wanna make sure it's loaded," he told me. I nodded. "You see that little lever thing on the top of the gun? You press it down to make it load," he added on. I pull the thing down and I hear it load. "Good. Now look straight forward," he said. I pull the trigger and boom, a bullet came out. I was amazed about what I did. I loved it. I was smiling. I can sense dad smiling as well. I still feel like someone is watching us but I don't pay attention to that I pay attention to the fact that Dad is finally teaching me something that could come in handy one day. After we were done with our lesson we go back home. But now I wonder...why is he teaching me this? Is he actually trying to be better? Why all of a sudden this little father and daughter bonding? And why with guns? I mean don't get me wrong I've always dreamed of using a gun but...why now? Especially from him, why now? My thoughts came to an end and went to my room. I laid down on my bed with my headphones on listening to my playlist on SoundCloud. Amy jumped on my bed and laid down on my stomach. Cute... I thought to myself. Although today was weird, I pretended I didn't care.

The next day

I got ready for school because I had to because I have no choice but when I got to school something felt...odd. Like there are new things in the room I'm in odd. I didn't mind and i instead just looked up ahead and walk to class. in class I see two new people. Huh, I guess the atmosphere did change I thought to myself. I sat at my table along with Max and Miss Rogers stood up and walked to the whiteboard. "Attention everyone! I have a few announcements," She said. "First off, as you can tell there was a shooter at the school yesterday and therefore school was canceled. But not to worry kids, everything is back to normal. Well, almost normal. As you can see we have two new students! You two come up!" I see the new kids come up to the whiteboard looking nervous. "Whenever you're ready you can introduce yourselves!" Miss Rogers said excitedly. One of them finally broke the awkwardness and said, "Hi I'm *** and I just moved here from Soledad. I hope I can make some friends here." And I like *** already, *** seem nice. I always use the names for new people because I don't know their pronouns so I don't wanna assume. The other kid is just shyly not speaking. But eventually they spoke and said, "h...hi I'm....n..Norma." That's all Norma said. Miss Rogers was just happy that they were here and she put them in me and Max's table. Then the lesson started.

At recess

During class I got to know Norma and *** a bit. Apparently *** is non-binary and they are really cool, we have the same interests. Same goes for Norma, well not the non-binary part she doesn't care what we call her because she uses all pronouns. "Well is there any names you guys like to be called?" Max asked. "Well I prefer the names Jaxx, and Levi," Jaxx/Levi said. I just asked, "how about we call you JJ from now on?" They seem pleased with that name and so they smiled and said, "that works too! I like it!" I looked at Norma and asked, "what about you? What would you like to be called?" "Oh Norma is just fine," She said.

We all walked up to the grassy area where we meet Val and we see her waiting there for us. "Hey guys, who are they?" Valeria asked pointing at both JJ and Norma. "Hi I'm Jaxx, or Levi, or JJ! You must be Valeria that Max and Alex were talking about!" JJ said excitedly. Valeria isn't used to this much excitement but she enjoys it. Norma said, "hey I'm Norma, they talked a lot about you and I got curious on who you might be, I dunno bro umm, all I'm trying to say is that it's nice to meet you." Valeria just gave a small yet soft smile to her.

We all were talking about other things until the queen of bitch-y-ness came along. "Oh great. Just perfect," I just said sarcastically. Alena walks up to us and said, "Ah if it isn't my f̶a̶v̶o̶r̶i̶t̶e̶ queer squad. Oh seems like we have new members. Now let me introduce myself, I'm Alena Gonzalez." She was all cocky and full of herself while I was done with her behavior. And so I said, "we may be gay but it seems like you should join us since you're clearly obsessed with us. I mean, be who you are for your pride as they say..." I was being what I do best, being an annoying little shit. Alena got mad. She was furious. "IM NOT GAY!" She yells. "Oh really? Then why do you keep falling for me~?" I say as I push her down to the ground causing her to fall. She hit me. "GET OUT OF HERE YOU FAGOT!" She yelled at me and my friends. As I said before, I always carry a pocket knife with me. I was reaching for my pocket until JJ, and Max started to continuously beat her.

I was shocked that the new kid had balls. Of course Max always had this side so I didn't expect him to not hit her. As they were done beating her I stepped close to her and got on one knee and resting my arm on the other knee. I leaned down to her and said, "oh sweetie, if only you would've never messed with us. We're not your little puppets. We are stronger then you think." Then I got up and I started walking back to the group. Oh to hear the cries of silent.

After school

As I got home Dad told me to change to get ready for the gun lessons again. As I was changing in my room BD said something. I think he's going to take you somewhere you're not supposed to go G. Like I care, at least he's hitting me less now. I still think he's gonna do something to you. Go sit on a dick BD.

Time skip

Me and dad were at the forest again but this time it was more deeper into it. As I was firing the gun's bullets I noticed something in the distance. Dad saw me slaking off and yelled at me saying, "OI! Get back to work you little shit!" "But dad there's something over there!" I said pointing into the distance. I started walking there with dad behind me. As we were walking closer it became more clear. We saw a house, no, a mansion. It was all black with a porch, stairs, a little roof over it, and one of those porch swings. The mansion itself is bigger and wider then Greenfield itself! But it also looked abandoned..I also noticed something to this mansion. I saw...a boy. He was hiding behind a tree. I couldn't make out of what he's wearing but I saw a little bit of green. Blond hair as well. He saw me staring at him and he started to run away. I wanted to go after him but Dad put his hand on my shoulder. I looked at him and he looked at me back. He gave me a stare and I just looked down on the ground accepting the fact that we had to go. But before we left I took a picture of the mansion.

At home

I got into bed and wanted to sleep but I needed to do something real quick. I grab my notebook and a pencil and started to draw something that's been on my mind for the rest of the day. I drew the mansion in a sketch with a photo reference and I also drew the boy behind the tree. I tried my best to draw him from memory but it was kinda hard. After I was done sketching and drawing I was satisfied with my design. I put my notebook and pencil down, while doing so I almost dropped my Bible and cross. I quickly picked it up before it hit the ground. I took that as a sign to start praying again.

I then put it down once I was done praying to the Virgin Mary. I put on some music and then I went to bed.

Tomorrow is a new day
