Brooklyn has woken up and Melissa wants her to be alone for a while before she has any visitors. Stiles' father had informed her about his problems and she agrees to give him a shot to put him to sleep just for a few hours. "Hey Stiles come here," she tells him when he finds her.
"You needed me?"
"Yeah come sit on this bed I need to ask you something."
"How much sleep have you been getting?"
"Um, four or five."
"Listen five hours of sleep in a day is not enough."
"No, I have had five hours of sleep in the past five days."
She looks up at him while he stares at the ground, "Well then that's a better reason for me to give you this."She jabs him with the needle and he closes his eyes, laying his head back against the pillow. She helps him adjust and pulls the blanket over him. Knowing exactly what's going on with him right now, he's feeling the same thing as her. She is her mother after all and watching her daughters best friend starting to slowly break is heartbreaking.
She heads back to Brooklyn and sits beside her on a chair, "Hey honey I'm back. Your head seems to be healing well and you seem to be writing and reading just fine."
"Can you tell me what happened? I don't remember why I'm here."
"You don't remember?" She starts to panic, "B-but you remember me right?"
"Yeah, you're my mom."
"Do you remember who you went camping with?"
"C-camping? No, with who?"It occurred to her that she has lost her memory except for the ones she had for a long time. So she would probably not remember her friends, she decides to call them.
"Why am I here?"
"Ok listen, Brook, since you can't remember, it will be too complicated to understand right now."

Twenty minutes later, Allison and Scott pull up and enter the room. "Hey Brooklyn," Scott gives her a fist pump.
"H-hey Scott, is this your girlfriend?" They all exchange worried looks, "You don't remember me?"
"No, are we friends?"

"Mhm," she bends down to hug her. Lydia, Isaac, Liam and Kira show up a little while later and Melissa explains everything to them. "So why does she remember you Scott and his dad?" Asks Liam.
"Well, I and the other doctors were discussing this just before, adding everything up, she could have retrograde amnesia. It only makes sense, but it will take her time to get her memories back."
