"I can feel him, he's here, Brooklyn," he chokes out. I turn to find someone for help, I have no idea what to do,
"Deaton!? Chris!? Sheriff!?"
They can barely hear over the noise but luckily his father answers, "What is it? My son?"
"Your son isn't here anymore, Noah."
I turn back around to see two of Stiles... man I hate this part. Void looks to Scott who is pinning Peter to the ground, he chuckles, "Oh how I love the sound of conflict."
He disappears in a blink of an eye and I follow after Stiles, "No! Don't look for him!"
"I'm looking for Lydia. We have to save her, if Void finds her she'll be in danger. If we can't be of any help here, then we might as well help with something else. I can't just continue to be useless."
"Stiles. Listen to me, you're not useless."
"It's my fault she's gone. Everyone was too focused on trying to help me that no one noticed that Peter took her-"
"It's not your fault," I assure him as he continues to walk and I pull him back, "Stop!"
"What?!"
"This is stupid, we need a scent. We stay."
I run towards our friends and see Allison start to shoot her arrow towards Matt, but he reaches for his gun. I warn her, "Allison, no, don't shoot!"
Her eyes glaze over, and she drops it, confused, causing him to hide the gun. Although, Malia saw it and tackles him to the ground. Shit. Theo helps him and pulls Malia off of him, being the stronger one.
He wraps his hands around her throat and as she gasps for air, the yellow colour in his eyes disappears as if something in him had changed, he lets her go. As if he has gained one last trembling gasp of sanity, "I can't do this. I'm done, I-"
As Matt shoots him in the chest, he falls to the ground. Theo stares into the eyes of his partner, the boy he thought he could trust, showing no signs of remorse.
Everyone freezes when they hear the shot and Theo runs into the night until I can't see him anymore.
Suddenly, all the noise around me fades and is replaced by a voice in my head. A voice that sounds like my own but doesn't quite feel like my own thoughts. I hear the same word over and over again:
"Fence."
I scan the field to find a fence behind the scoreboard, I run to find out what's so important about it. "Where are you going? Wait up!" Stiles whispers harshly, trying not to bring attention to ourselves. Having reached the fence, I glance into the bush in front of it and see a sword. Stiles snatches it, "Kira..."
"She must have dropped it when she was attacked."
"No. She hid it, she hid it because she knew she was going to die."
