Not all love stories have happy endings.
"It's me, it's me Stiles...your best friend." Brooklyn's stepbrother Scott returns to live with them and from then, her whole world turns upside down. Her life is suddenly filled with werewolves and th...
"I don't think so dad," Stiles answers. His dad heads for the exit, "Make sure to give me a call if this place gets too much for you." He waves and one of the guards grabs his bag and leads him to his room. He hands him a shirt, pants and slippers that all the patients have to wear, and locks the door behind him. "Hey! You're just going to leave me here?" He got no response, "Do I get any food at least?"
He sighs and looks around, the small, empty, dull room. There is another person in there too, she was already asleep she is curled up in a corner, her face pale against the cold floor. She has a slender figure, her clothes barely clinging to her frame. He wonders what she was doing here and felt a strange sort of empathy for her.

He arrived late, so it was already past curfew. He sits on his bed the whole night staring out the window and he doesn't notice the sunrise. "Were you awake the whole night?" The girl asks once she awakens. He glances at her and mumbles,
"Uh, yeah I um couldn't sleep."
"So um, what are you in for?" She chuckles.
"Hm?"

"Well I'm here because.. forget it you won't believe me."
"My dad forced me here for my mental health or some shit, apparently my therapist wasn't enough."
The door opens with two guards leading them to a room with tables along with the others. They sat and began to eat from the bowls of cereal in front of them, "Hey anyone, is there anything else we could choose to eat? I normally eat something with a lot of sugar in it in the mornings, it helps with my anxiety."
"He's right, this has no flavour at all," says the older man beside him.
The guards and social workers just ignore them." They're bitches, always have been and you gotta learn that from now," the girl whispers.
There's no point in complaining to them," the older man said, "you just gotta do what you can to survive. They don't care about us and they never will. All they want is for us to stay in line, do what they say and not ask any questions. We don't get a say in anything, so why should we expect them to give us better food?"
He looked around the room at the other people. Some of them were eating silently while others were talking amongst themselves. There was a palpable tension in the air, as if everyone was waiting for something to happen. He noticed that all the social workers and guards seemed to be avoiding eye contact with anyone in the room. He wasn't sure why they were so tense and why they didn't want to talk to the people there. The guards and social workers continued with their conversations, seemingly oblivious to the hunger of those they were tasked with caring for. Even when one of the guards shot them a brief glance, they turned away quickly. It was apparent that any discussion on the matter was not welcome.
