I figure that Brooklyn is going to shower first thing once she wakes up so I should put it in her clothes drawer. I want her to be the first one to read it so I walk to her bedroom when Scott stops me, I notice he is wearing the same clothes and I look him up and down. "What?" He exclaims, "They aren't dirty." I scoff and open his sister's door with the note stuffed in my shirt pocket. He asks, "What's that? Why are you going into her room?"
I pull the letter out and hesitate before answering, "Oh this? Right, I am- it's her homework that I just did now, I'm giving it to her... well leaving it in her room."
"She was complaining about the amount of homework she got before. You did it all now in a few minutes?"
"Yeah, well it's just notes and stuff so..."
"Whatever, nerd," he lightly hits my back, "You know, we're lucky to have you in our lives."
"Yeah, yeah I know."
I pull his arm forward and hug him as tight as I can. I can tell he's confused and he doesn't move, "What's up?" He asks me.
"I just really love you that's all. Did you know that?"
"Yes, you mention it when you get emotional. Which is basically every day."
We laugh and I inhale the scent of his dirty clothes that reek. I let go, "I'm gonna have to leave now."
"You do?"
"I've decided that I'm going to just drive off-"
"What?"
"You know, wherever those old wheels can take me. To clear my head."
"That piece of junk isn't going to last that long, you know?"
It's going to last longer than me, is what I want to say. But instead, I tell him, "It's nothing some duct tape can't fix."
"Alright then, enjoy your road trip."
I rush to the door before he has a chance to ask any more questions, I might be gone for a few days, maybe months!"
I shut the door and whisper to myself, "Oh how I'm going to miss his stench." Maybe it's a werewolf thing.
"Wait what?!" He shouts, "Did you forget I have enhanced hearing, Stilinski!"
Oh shit.

I have been driving for hours and the sun is going to rise soon. I have been trying my hardest not to sleep and I have no idea where I am going or where I am. I keep blacking out and I think I nearly crashed into a tree, I need to rest. There is so much traffic on these roads and I don't feel safe parking my jeep anywhere, so I decide to drive back and stop driving for a while.
