Chapter 8

                               Onyx's POV
After Amicia and Jonas left my room I noticed Destiny seemed upset again. I turned around and saw she was looking at herself in the mirror. I walked over to her and put my arms around her waist.

"Didn't I tell you to stop doing this?"

"What if I can't have kids now?"

"Did they tell you that you can't?"

"No."

"Then why are you thinking like that?"

"I don't know."

"Stop looking at your stomach."

"Are yo-"

I cut her off.

"No I'm not going to reject you. You're my mate and I love you. I'm serious. I do. Turn around."

"I'm not looking at me! I'm looking at you! I swear!"

I turned her around and put her on the bathroom counter.

"Now you have no choice. You gotta look at me now."

I put my hands down next to her on the counter.

Ian: I told you! She's depressed!

"If I knew this would've happened I would've stayed home. I would've never baker acted myself."

"But you had to go."

"I know. Why are you being so hard on yourself? Did somebody tell you something? Does Ian need to yell at Chrissy?"

I felt a pain in one of my fingers and looked down. I  saw she was picking her cuticles. I put my hand on top of hers to stop her.

"Don't do that."

I looked at her finger and saw it was bleeding. I grabbed a bandage and wrapped it around her finger.

"Emerald eyes look at me."

She shook her head. Her hair started covering her face so I moved it.

"Why not?"

"I'm just going to upset you."

"Why would you upset me? Honey what's wrong?"

I heard her start crying.

"Destiny Roxanna what's wrong? If you're gonna tell me you're depressed I know that already. Chrissy told Ian then Ian told me. Wait.."

My heart sank.

"No! No!"

I picked her head up.

"I told you! You can't do that!" I said as my voice cracked.

"You saw what happened with me! I REFUSE to let you turn into me!"

I pressed our foreheads together.

"You cannot do that!"

"I'm sorry!"

"When did all this start?"

"I don't know. I just started getting upset yesterday."
