Chapter 45

                                Jennifer's POV
I walked up to the front door and went to knock on it. Before I could the door opened.

"Hey Jenny! Are you training with us today?"

"Would that be okay?"

"Yeah. Wait a minute. I see my uncle's car."

I turned around and saw a car pull into the driveway.  His uncle got out of the car.

"We were just about to go to your house."

"I'm giving you the day off. I have to talk to your dad. Is he home?"

"He's in the living room. Have you been crying?"

"ONYX!"

His dad came to the front door.

"Hey EJ. What's wrong?"

"My fucking mate just rejected me."

"Kids go upstairs."

Me, Devin, and Ryker went upstairs.

"Who the hell would reject the alpha?"

"Someone dumb."

"WHAT?!"

"Uh oh."

"Nyx is pissed."

Destiny walked up to us.

"Who broke what?"

"Nobody broke anything."

"Okay THAT'S a lie."

"Someone rejected Ethan."

"You're joking. Please tell me you're joking Devin."

"Uhhhhhh...."

"Fuck!"

She ran downstairs.

"In other news. Did you do finish your bond yet?"

"Honestly I don't know. My brother walked in."

"Oh shit! Pat saw you?! And he's still alive?!"

"I'm not allowed to be in her house anymore."

"You two were doing it weren't you?"

"Devin leave them alone."

"AH! How long have you been standing there?!"

"Long enough. Did someone really reject Uncle Ethan?"

"G, his eyes are red and puffy."

"Wow. He never cries. Jen can I talk to you?"

"O-okay."

We walked into her room and she closed the door.

"Spill! I wanna hear everything!"

We sat down on her bed.

"How's he treating you? Do I have to have a talk with him?"

"No. He-he's been great."

"Good. If he ever acts like a dick let me know. And then let Devin know."

"I don't know if we completed our bond yet. My brother walked in."

"I think I remember one of you saying that."

"Do you think you'll go back to cheer?"

"No. I don't think so. The doctor said I can't and plus I don't think I'd want to."

"I honestly never thought Dev would be a dad. He used to tell me he was scared he'll turn into his dad."

"I know. I know he won't."
