After the feast, the prefects led all the first year Slytherins to the common room, which was in the dungeons behind a wall. The prefect said the password loud enough for everyone to hear and told them that they better not forget it, otherwise they would be sleeping in the corridor, and every month the password changes and the new one will be placed on the common room notice board.

The common room its self amazed Percy. The walls were covered in smooth cobblestone and tapestries. The windows looked into the lake, and you could see all of the marine life living their lives. A fire crackled at one end of the room, and there was plenty of couches and arm chairs spread around.

The prefect showed them to the dorms and said that girls were on the left and boys on the right, Percy could only wonder where you would go if you were non-binary, or gender fluid, but then realised that Slytherin probably wouldn't except them if they were and would probably tell them to go to the dormitory that was the same as the gender you were assigned with at birth.

Percy entered the boys dorm and saw five four poster wooden beds with green hangings around them. All of the beds already had a trunk at the foot, so Percy searched for his. He was pleased to find his bed next to a window and at the end of the room. Deciding that it was getting late and he had his first day of classes in the morning, he went to bed after changing into his pajamas.

Percy woke at dawn, like usual, to the sounds of snores and he smiled. He was in Hogwarts. This is where his mom grew up and became a witch. This is where his Godfather became like a little brother to his mom. This is also the only place he will be allowed in his uncles domain of the skies.

Getting dressed into his school robes, Percy entered the common room, to find it empty. Percy then remembered that not everyone gets up at dawn. But then again, if it wasn't for camp and the war then he would of slept in and been late for his first day of lessons.

Sighing he sat in one of the leather armchairs next to the fire and pulled out his text book on potions. He knew somethings on potions anyway because of Chiron and his mother would show him a few things or if he got hurt to a point where nectar and ambrosia couldn't help him then she would give him a healing potion.

It wasn't until about 7 am people started to make their way into the common room. Some waited for their friends, others just left to go get breakfast, but Percy didn't pay attention to these people, he was to absorbed in his book. At around half seven in the morning, someone snatched the book out of Percy's hand and and flicked through it.

"How do you even read this?" Malfoy asked snobbishly.

"With my eyes. Now give it back." Percy demanded. He was willing to give him a chance first.

"Or what." Malfoy said smirking. He was confident Percy couldn't hurt him because Crabbe and Goyle were so much bigger than him, but none of them knew that Percy had faced a lot of things bigger than him.

"Give it back to him, Malfoy." A prefect ordered from the bottom of the stairs. "You don't want that boys family as your enemy."

Malfoy grudgingly threw the book back to Percy, which he caught, and left the common room. Percy turned to the prefect. "Thanks, but I had it handled."

"I know. But I know what your fathers side of the family are and you don't need to go revealing that to the likes of him." She told him, pointing to the exit. "It wouldn't be good. Now go get breakfast before your classes start."

Percy decided to do as he was told and made his way to the great hall, where he sat at the Slytherin table next to Blaise. Percy helped himself to the eggs and sausages and a professor, with unbelievably greasy hair walked down the table handing out timetables. Looking down at his timetable, that was in Greek.

"Can you not read English, Jackson." Malfoy snickered.

"I can. But why would I disrespect my family's linage by reading it? My family are all Greek and are proud to be so and so am I. So I will stick to Greek thanks." Percy said coldly.

Blaise snickered next to him at Malfoys face, it was a mix of, how dare you speak to me that way and do you know who I am, and a bit of fear at the mention of his family.

Percy's lessons were interesting to say the least. Some he had with Ravenclaw, some he had with Hufflepuff, and some he had with Gryffindor. He learnt that the Gryffindor's didn't like the Slytherins and vise versa, but during the lessons with Gryffindor, Percy would sit with Harry and talk about how things have been, and Percy sitting with Harry meant he was sitting with Ron. Ron didn't mind Percy as far as Slytherins go, he wasn't to bad, but he was a bit prejudice.

The lesson Percy was looking forward to the most was defence against the dark arts, but it turned out to be a joke. The class smelt of Garlic, which everyone said was to ward of a vampire he had met in Romania. His turban had apparently been given to him by an African prince as a thank you, but no one was sure that they believed those stories. For whenever someone asked how he fought, Professor Quirrell would turn pink and start talking about the weather.

The one thing Percy couldn't get used to was the post. The owls hated him, but he guessed that was because of Athena's rivalry with his father. Every time the post came, owls would come and attack. So for at least five minutes during breakfast he was hiding under the table, while everyone, especially Malfoy laughed.

A/N I hope you people have a happy holiday and I'll post the next update in the new year. Bye for now.
