8 - Flying Lessons

At three thirty that afternoon the first year Gryffindors and Slytherins hurried down the front steps into the ground for their first flying lesson.

There were twenty broomsticks in two rows and everyone was instructed to stand next to one and they did.

Madam Hooch, walked briskly in between the rows and explained what to do and just before she blew the whistle, Neville, a Gryffindor Percy had talked to once, pressed of the ground a little to early and couldn't control his broom and ended up falling off and breaking his wrist.

Madam Hooch, warned them that if she catches any of them in the air, on their brooms, then they'll be kicked out of school, then she left to take Neville to the hospital wing.

As soon as the professor was out of earshot Malfoy burst into laughter.

"Did yoh see his face, the great lump?"

Some of the other Slytherins joined in but Percy and Blaise didn't.

"Shut up Malfoy." Percy snapped taking a treating step towards the blonde.

"Sticking up for longbottom Jackson? Didn't think he would be your type." He sneered then darted forward and snatched something out of the grass. "Looks, it's that stupid thing Longbottom's gran sent him."

In the sun the Remembrall glittered.

"Give that here Malfoy." Harry demanded stepping up beside his cousin.

"I think ill leave it someher for Longbottom to collect, how about, up a tree?" Malfoy taunted.

Before anyone could do anything Malfoy was up in the air and taunting Harry to come and get it.

Percy was going to go up, he wouldn't mind having a fight, he kind of missed the action, however Blaise held him back reminding him he would get expelled, but Harry didn't have anyone to hold him back and so he mounted his broom and kicked of the ground.

Some of the girls screamed, but there was a whoop from bother Ron and Percy.

Harry, then turned his broom to face Malfoy mid-air. To say Malfoy was stunned was an understatement.

"Give it here, or I'll knock you off that broom!" Harry warned.

Malfoy did not give the Remembrall to him and instead he lobbed it high up into the air and raced back towards the ground, where Percy was held back from punching the entitled boy. Harry streaked across the field on the broom, caught the ball and flew safetly back to the ground, remembrall safetly in his grasp.

Suddenly Harry's name was called and everyone ttrurned around to see Professor McGonagall running towards them and Harry started trembling. The professor was speachles and silenced anyone who tried to defend Harry and dragged him off, and Percy saw Malfoy and his three goons triumphant faces and with the teacher out of site, Percy broke Malfoys nose.

"Tell anyone that I broke it and I'll do much worse. I do not appreiate being around bullies nor do I appriciate someone bullying my cousin or his friends, do I make myself clear?" Percy asked and Malfoy ran off asummingly to Madam Promphery 'to get his nose fixed.

"You have got to be the best Slytherin ever." Ron said shaking Percy's hand and all of the Gryffindors agreed. Percy just shrugged and said it was nothing and that this was how his mother raised him. "Anywho, I got a meeting with some genius', so let me know what happens to my cuz will you?"

Ron just nodded confused and Percy took his leave, half of the class had left anyway so there was no point in a staying and so he made his way to Flitwick's classroom. He used his powers over water to essentially see into the room and saw the twins by Flitwick's desk giving them a clear site of the door and also sensed that there was three traps, but he didn't know what would set them off.

So he walked in and casually walked around where the traps would fall with grace that only comes from years of demigod training, meaning he tripped on the hem of his robes and fell into the third trap and got covered in pin pint and glitter that had a sticking charm on it.

The twins clapped impressed that he was able to dodge the first two traps and laughed at him covered in pink, but helped him up non-the-less. 

"So, you want to be a prankster like us, uh, little snake?" Twins asked taking it in turns to say each word.

"Well I can see you are encredibly good at it, and it might give me and my cousin, Harry, some fun over the summer if you let me tag along or if you train me. Esspecially with what are muggle cousin is like, think of him as a blonde pig but worse, same with his parents, only one is a nosy giraffe, the other an angry walrus, and if I was to say make a paint bomb with a sticking charm on it while in school and use it when not in school it technically isn't classed as underage magic because the magic was done in school." Percy said with a sweet innocent smile. "And I can help you prank the slytherins and Snape."

The twins looked at eachother, had a silent convosation and then looked back at Percy then grinned. "Welcome to the team, little snake. But we are third years and can't really be seen with a first, got to keep up the reputation, however if you manage to pull of a brilliant prank then, there would be reason for us to hang around."

Percy, who figgered the little snake nickname was going to be sticking around nodded and immediatly started thinking of what he could do and shook hands with the twins who did a spell and cleaned of his robes and Percy went off to the libary to do some research.

The next week, Percy had his head down in books and was asking Flitwick and McGonaggle to help him preform some spells from the upper years so he could get this prank he had planned perfect and whenever the teachers asked about it, he would just say that his didn't want to dissapoint his mom and wanted to get ahead of his studdies as no one was going to question a grieving eleven year old.

A/N Hey guys! Been a while I know. I've been focused on my other story more than I have this one, also didn't help that I had lost my Philosopher's Stone book, so I couldn't continue writing, because I don't want to use the films as there is more detail and information in the books that fit in better with the story.
Anyway sorry for not updating you guys in a while, but here you go and I hop you have enjoyed.
