Percy Jackson And The Philosopher's Stone

Percy knocked on Snape's office exactly as the clock struck 7 o'clock in the morning. 

"Come in."

Percy walked in and sat infront of the desk and bounced his leg up and down slightly as he waited for his head of house to speak.

"Mr Jackson. I hope you know why I have called you in here this morning." Snape started.

"Yes sir. What I did yesterday was reckless and I could've gotten myself killed, and I should of gone to get a teacher instead of fighting and acting like a pridefilled Gryffindor." He answered with his head down.

"Actually Mr. Jackson, I called you here because you are able to cast spells well beyond what anyone your age should be able to do. Tell me, when did you learn those spells?"

"Last night sir. But I had read about it before and I figured there was no harm in trying, considering everything else I tried wasn't working."

"Very well. I will give you an option Mr. Jackson. On the nights you do not have detention, you may have extra lessons with teachers, should you wish, if not then they will stay as your free time." 

"If I accept that sir, can you be the one to teach me Defence Against the Dark Arts?"

"Why would you want that? Do you not believe professor Quirrell to be an  inadequate teacher?"

"For somethings I suppose. However he is very skittish and when he saw that troll in the bathroom last night he almost fainted. I just don't think I am learning very much from him sir." Percy answered trying to be as respectful as possible.

"You are right. He is very skittish. I suppose I could teach you, however any assignment and work I give you I would expect top marks, in both in class studdies and outside of class studdies. Am I clear."

"Yes sir." Percy nodded with a small smile.

"Very well, of you go then. I will give you your extra timetable at dinner time. Do not forget you have detention with Filtch."

Percy again nodded, left and headed to breakfast, which he spent sitting in between Harry and Hermione, and after the post came, Percy got up from hiding under the table just as a howler started to howl at him and everyone in the hall stared at him.

"A TROLL PERSEUS!" It started in his Uncle Moonys angry voice. "YOU DECIDED TO TAKE ON A MOUNTAIN TROLL, ON YOUR OWN! DO YOU REALISE HOW STUPID THAT IS? YOU ARE ELEVEN YEARS OLD FOR MERLINS SAKE! Why does this not surprise me." Moony ended up sighing and there was an audiable intake of air, before he spoke in a softer tone of voice. "I am glad you are not dead. But please never try to fight a troll on your own again. You are a Slytherin not a Gryffindor, so stop acting as reckless as one. I've lost your mum, your aunt and all of your uncles, do not make me lose you too."

At the end Percy could hear how upset his uncle was and he felt immdiate guilt and made a silent promise to try to be smarter about things so that he would be able to see his uncle again and not when they both met up in the underworld.

The howler dropped down onto his plate and he moved it aside to see another letter in Greek and saw it was from Nico. "The camp says well done for defeating a troll with magic and not your demigodness, although Chiron is a little disapointed that you didn't go get a teacher first. But well done on not entering my fathers realm. When Chiron told us you had faced a troll we kind of expecting to hold another funeral for you but then he said you survived, a few people were a little dissapointed but not everyone. Oh and another thing. I'm gay and dating Will Solace, son of Apollo."

Percy ignored everything going on around him and scrambled around in his bag for a peice of partchment and started to rapidly write back in Greek. "You, Mr king of grumpyness is dating a child of Apollo? What does your dad think of this? Does he know. Ooh, what does Apollo think of this? Have you given eachother cute nicknames yet? Because the rule of the cabins is that if there is only a boy in there then a girl from another cabin isn't allowed in because of things that teenagers get up too, but does that mean that you have a loophole because you and Will are both boys and you have an entire cabin to yourself or does the rule change depending on sexual prefrence? Does anyone from the Aphrodite cabin know? Ooh, I bet they do. Are they all over you? Have you had a visit from Aphrodite herself?

"Oh by the way, I'm not sure if Chiron has taught you this, but when the gods made mortals, they made us with two hlaves but thought that they would be too powerful and so they cut them in two, and the two halves would spend a lifetime searching for one anothers as that was their soul mate. Anyway, sometimes those to halves were of make and female, however othertimes they were male and male, as well as female and female. 

"I'm am also very happy that you trust me enough to tell me.

"Hopefully I will see you soon. Bye Death-Breath."

After he finished writing he noticed that Harry was staring at him. 

"What's up Hazza bear?" 

"1. Don't call me that. 2. who was the talking letter from?"

"Oh, the howler was from my God father, Remus. He was the guy I mentioned that was friends with your dad." Percy answered. 

"Oh." Harry replied and they continued to eat their breakfast in peace before they headed their seperate ways for their lessons.

A/N Hey guys. So I got a new chapter for you lot. Also I have gotten a new job at a Weatherspoons, which is a type pub well known all over the UK with I think 500 pubs and about 100 hotels. But I am currently working 24-27 hours a week whilst beeing in full time education, which isn't going to give me much time to do chapters but when they are done they will be published.

Another thing, I cannot decide if I should risk continuing to ride my motorbike to and from college anymore with the increased chance of Black Ice . However I don't want to be waking up at 6am to get a public bus, because I do not have the money to pay for a college bus ticket, which would also be for the full year and I don't need a bus ticket for that amount of time.

On a positve, I am going to be watching the Meatloaf musical, A Bat Out Of Hell next tuesday and I can't wait. It should hopefully help me when I have my Drama exam.
