As they entered November, the weather became so cold that Percy didn't go anywhere without his cloak, which he didn't like as it was very impractical. But what he did like about November was that the quidditch season had begun and the first match was between Slytherin and Gryffindore.
Percy had told Harry that he will be supporting his house, but wished his cousin the best and told him to eat something, when he noticed that his cousin hadn't touched his breakfast. Harry refused and so Percy put down his spoon of cereal and looked at his cousin in the eye.
"Harry. If you do not eat. I will pick up your fork with the bacon on it and hand feed you infront of this entire school."
"You wouldn't." Harry mumbled, looking away from Percy.
Percy just raised an eyebrow and grabbed Harry's fork. "Open wide. Here comes the aeroplane."
Harry glared at the Slytherin and snatched the fork from his hand but started to eat his breakfast. Percy nodded satisfied and said his goodbyes and went to stand in the Slytherin stands and watched the game.
Percy would admit that Slytherin was definitely playing dirty, especially against Harry. Suddenly when Harry was chasing a little golden blob in the distance, Percy saw his broom jerk and suddenly Harry's broom was throwing him around, as if it was a horse trying to buck him off.
Harry's broom gave a strong jerk and suddenly he was off and dangling from it by one hand, the broom still trying to dislodge him. Percy stared at his cousin in fear of what was about to happen and looked over to the teachers stands to see if any of them were going to do something to help him.
The only one he could see doing something was Snape, and he couldn't tell if he was cursing him or trying to undo the curse, but then he also noticed that Quirrel wasn't breaking eye contact with Harry, not even to blink or to flinch when the broom gave a violent jolt.
Percy tried to get out of the stands, but was trapped by the entirety of his house, and so he tried to get the attention of Harry's friends and when he did he pointed towards the teachers stand and they seemed to get the message and Hermione vanished. Percy continued to try to push through his housemates and when he did he heard cheering and then a loud gasp, before Lee Jordan anounced that Harry had caught the Snitch.
Percy ran out onto the pitch and saw his cousin about to be hoisted up by the twins but he beat them to him.
"Harry! Harry are you okay! Are you hurt?" He asked frantically.
"Relax Perce, I'm fine. No harm done." Harry brushed his cousin off and Percy backed off, letting Harry embrace his team and his friends, before heading to find his head of house, who was making his way to the castle along with the rest of the dejected Slytherins.
Percy caught up with the professor and asked to speak to him and so Snape took him to his office.
"What is it, Mr Jackson?" The professor questioned.
"How come you were the only teacher muttering a counter curse and trying to save my cousin when Professor Quirrell was doing the opposite?" Percy jumped right into business, surprising the professor.
"You are quick to accuse a teacher."
"No student would know how to curse a fellow student like that, and professor Quirrell was the only other person besides yourself that didn't remove eye contact, he didn't even blink or flinch." Percy explained.
"How do you know I was not the one trying to kill your cousin?" Snape raised an eyebrow.
"Please, professor, I know I am young, but as you know I am not a fool. I know Quirrell is smarter than what he lets on. I know his stutter isn't real. It's convincing, but not real. He uses it for show, same with the garlic and the lack of practicality in his classroom, it's to appear weak and vunerable, in order to hide his true power, his true strength." Percy said all this and watched as Snape didn't show a tiny bit of surprise. "And you already knew all of this didn't you?"
"I did. But I am surprised you did also. Many of the other teachers are yet to figure it out and many if not all of the students will not. Your detention tomorrow night will be with Quirrell, doing whatever he asks you to do." Snape said organising some papers on his desk.
"You want to use me as a spy, figure out what he's hiding." Percy said surprised, then turned slight angry. "I do not appreciate being used as a pawn. If you want me to spy on him, just ask. Professor."
"Tonights lesson will be in the art of occlumency. You are dissmissed."
Percy didn't argue with the professor, and left without saying a word and went to go sit by the lake to think until it came time for lunch, where he decided to eat on his own before going down to his first lesson of occlumency.

The reason I have been gone for so long is that there have just been things going on, I've moved house, had vertigo, my nan has been ill, I've got my A-Level exams, been too ill to work, and now my brother has come to visit and he isn't the nicest guy in the world, (he's racist, sexist, homophobic, narcasistic ect) So i just have a lot going on, but I'll try to get another update out soon.
