It had been a month since I heard from Todd and I dreaded the thought everyday. I buried myself in my work and continued to fault myself for failing to realize the signs. My secretary brought me coffee as I typed at an al time high. "Maybe you should take a break," she said nervously. I looked at her and said,"I don't need one thank you." She backed out of my office as if she were afraid to ask anything else and left me to finsh. I rolled my eyes and thought to myself, "She would not be bringing coffee if she knew what sort of douche I was fooling with a month ago and the fact he was married. I sighed heavily as my office phone rung. I was snapped out of my trance by screaming profanities at the other end of the line by my head boss. I sat upright quickly and said,"No sir I have no idea what you mean because our numbers are at an all time high and no one has dropped out of our committee and/or charity club." He told me to double check and I immediatelt went to typing. What I saw made my mouth drop. I couldn't believe half of our people had dropped out of our business! My boss continued to chew me out and I continued to scroll and everything else I seen made me gasp. Pictures of Todd and I were plastered everywhere at the gala and on other dates we had previously attended. I couldn't believe this crap. This had to be a dream. I tuned out my boss as he started talking about being with a married man and so on. I had to figure out who took these pictures so they could be taken down asap. My boss kept running his mouth and I said quickly,"Client calling I'll call you back okay? Bye." I slammed the phone down and yelled for my secretary to find out the IP address based on the pictures and fast. I walked out of the office and told her I was going home. Soon as I hit the front door, cameras were everywhere around a black sleek car. I squinted to see inside past the people and the door swung open revealing the person who made my breath hitch in my throat. Blu. I froze, unable to move as she stared at me, seeming annoyed at my presence. She stepped out of the limo smoothly and approached me slowly not blinking an eye. My heart pounded in my chest and I sputtered,"Blu, hi." Silence. The reporters snapped pictures back to back nonstop and waited for her to speak. She swallowed and said quietly and calmly,"You're not to see my husband any longer. Don't you have any class girl?" I rolled my eyes as she continued,"Stay away from my husband. We're expecting and I don't need the stress." And with that, she slapped the hell out of me! I rubbed my cheek and that's when something clicked. She needed to know her douche of a husband never claimed her unless it was in front of cameras. "I never knew he was married because he never spoke on you!" I blurted out,"Only time I saw you was on social media and that was recently! No one knows about you off bat unless they search who he is!" She stared at me blankly. "You might wanna rethink having a child with someone who barely acknowledges you unless it's in the blogs. And don't ever hit me again because if you weren't pregnant I would've killed you." I walked off and left her standing there looking helpless and lost. Fucking bitch. I was gonna give her the benefit of the doubt me being the other woman and all. Oh God did I really just say that? The other woman. Smh well, it was what it was at this point.
