It was a couple hours after Esperanza had woken up from her nap. She had had a rather bizarre dream. She was on stage at the Richard Rodgers with her Alexi, Laurens, Lafayette, Mulligan, and Burr stood beside her as they bowed gracefully, their final bow. Was it some type of foreshadowing? Or was it just something she so desperately wished to happen? Esper wasn't too sure.

"Hey, Esper!" Carleigh greeted with a letter gently grasped in her hand as she entered the room. The brunette paused a few paces from the doorway, goosebumps erupting across her arms. "Yikes, it's freezing right here. Is it freezing for you over there?"

"No," she replied, standing up and heading to where Carleigh was and watching as goosebumps erupted over her skin, making the hair on her arms stand on end. "Huh, that's weird." Carleigh nodded in agreement, handing Esper the letter before taking a seat beside Sasha.

"Speaking of weird," Sasha started as she smiled at Carleigh who smiled back whilst Esper started to open the letter she had received. "This happened a couple days ago. We were in the prop room, which has no windows, right? But, for some reason, there was an ice-cold wind that went by, around about shin height. Maybe a little lower."

"That's... weird," Carleigh murmured before turning her attention to Esper. "What's the letter about?"

"I'm not too sure," she muttered, eyes squinting as she tried to decipher the handwriting. It looked very similar to that of her Jackie's handwriting. "Dearest Esperanza, I'm not sure when you will be receiving this letter, though I have requested of Aspen to give it to you when you return to your time. During the time you have been gone, I'm sure the others and I have watched you grow up in the time you are in now, whenever that is. I love you, Esperanza, and I hope we can reunite one day and be happy with the rest of our friends and family. Forever yours, your Jackie. Para siempre."

"You two seemed awfully close," Sasha pointed out, noticing Anthony leaning in the doorway.

"We were," Esper spoke softly, hand tracing the intricate writing that was of her Jackie's. "All of us were close. It ruined us when Jackie passed down in South Carolina. Alexi threw himself into his work whilst I threw myself into fighting for slave rights, as well as the abolition of slavery. Not only did I wish to abolish it myself, but I also wanted to do it in Jackie's memory."

"That's very sweet of you, Esper," Anthony murmured with a soft smile, walking into the room, and giving the girl a side hug. "You really are an amazing woman, huh?"

"Heh, thank you, Anthony," she thanked, blushing slightly. Anthony gave a cheeky little grin before ruffling Esper's hair and running out of the room whilst Esper shouted after him. "Anthony Ramos!" Anthony's laughter could be heard down the hall, along with Esper, Sasha, and Carleigh's as the three girls decided to chase after the man. For a split second, Esperanza looked behind her as she felt a pair of eyes on her. When she did, she could have sworn she saw the blue coat of John Laurens. Shaking her head, she continued her pursuit for Anthony.
