Chapter 14

"Kumi Aroeris Larmatillon, is now entering" the guard announced as they opened the door reveling the throne and king.

Kumi walked until he was I front of the king and kneeled,

"It's nice meeting you I heard you had light magic?" Kumi secretly looked up, the man above him had no intention of letting him get up.

"Yes that is the case your majesty"

"Hahahaha, the Larmatillion family surely is blessed"

'I heard this child isn't loved since he is useful, once I get his trust he will be a disposable pawn.' The king thought

"My dear child, you have a bright future ahead of you" he said kind words but eyes filled with malicious intent

After one sidedly talking for an hour and a half with him not talking much, after this he was dismissed.

The whole time he was there he was not allowed to stand therefore his knee were sore and walking was tiring but he could not heal it in front of them, all they know is that he has healing magic but not that he can use them.

As he went far enough he leaned against a wall and slides down to sit, but then he noticed someone was approaching him from behind and he looked back.

It was Aiden, he tried to hide but it was too late as the other saw him,
Aiden ran to him he tried to crawl away but failed as the pain in his caused him to fall face down on the ground.

"What are you doing?"

He slowly got up and sat on the ground and said, "nothing, what about you, what are you doing here?"

Aiden smiled and came closer as he got a handkerchief to clean the dirt of Kumi's face as he said, "nothing much, I came to pay a visit"

Kumi felt embarrassed at his current situation, he didn't know why he didn't want to be seen by him.

"I'm glad you didn't forget about me,"

'How could I forget you' Kumi realized his thought and stared blankly at Aiden and couldn't control himself when he said, "I am also glad you didn't forget me"

Thoughts after thoughts we're rushing in each others head especially Kumi, he got up in a hurry leading to him stumbling and falling again, catching Aidens attention.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah I'm fine, you must be busy, I won't waste your time and get going..." "it is nice meeting you again" he said as he walked away leaving Aiden in awe.

As he was walking to his carriage he no longer cared about the pain and dealt with it.
But thinking back about Aiden he unknowingly slightly blushed as he used his hands to cover his hands in embarrassment and frustration. Why did he act abnormal when he encountered him.

"What's wrong" Kumi asked
"Nothing I just realized something troubling" It didn't take long for him to realize he liked Aiden, although he had no experience in romance in anyway whatsoever, he practically didn't even knew of its existence until he occasionally saw couples and when his brother married. Other than that he knew nothing about what loved felt like but something tells him he liked Aiden romantically and he himself couldn't deny it because he either liked him or he was bewitched.

But him liking him was a problem for one they were both men and it was looked down upon to like the same sex and that's all he knew but that was the least of his problems he didn't know if Aiden would like his future actions.

He looked out the window and saw the sun was setting he looked down at his hands and saw he was unconsciously playing with his thumbs, he stopped and opened his hands, he stared at them and thought, 'they are not even clean right now and neither will they be going forward'

"You know I can no longer read your mind so you have to speak for me to understand"

"Don't worry about it"

"Come on tell me~" Kumi whined

Takashi sighed helplessly, "If you really want to know... I like Aiden"

"Oh..." Kumi said in a elegiac tone, he knew if he wanted his revenge he needed the help of Takashi, although he said he no longer wanted the body he liked the idea of having revenge and he couldn't do that if Takashi wasn't willing, 'because of my selfishness you might lose your first love, I'm... very sorry' Kumi said to himself unwilling to say it out loud, he was afraid of what would happen if he did say so he chose to stay silent.

When they arrived the moon shone and breeze felt rather cold today for both of them.

Arriving to his room he saw Ashrith reading a book for one of the classes.

"How did it go?" He asked putting the book on his lap

"...It went well," "I'm going to take a bath"

As he took a bath he looked at the purple bruise on his knee, he decided not to heal it, he put ointment and bandage on it and that was enough.
