It has been a week since I entered the academy. I decided to improve my reputation. It has been going well so far and Amba has yet to bother me and I have not seen her often either.
I have 6 classes a day and the only class where there is no male lead is my first class, the other's there are at least one, I did try to avoid them and just observe but they seem to be interested in me and initiate a conversation, just like now.
"Hello there classmate Kumi," The 4th male lead said with enthusiasm
I smiled and waved back, "What brings you here, sir Blade Ambrose?"
"Would you like to accompany us to the library?"
"I'm sorry but I'm afraid that I am a bit busy at the moment," He said with an apologetic smile but what he really thought was, 'I don't want to be close to the male leads if possible and Kumi thinks they are annoying. "I'll be leaving then,"
"Right, have a good day," The other said with a smile
As he walked away calmly someone jumped at him but he dodged it so the other fell on the floor, it was a girl who has been bothering him for the past few days,
"Aw why did you dodge,"
"I'm very sorry miss, I thought it was an animal, are you okay?" He asked as he reached his hand out to her.
"Fine I'll forgive you," she said and thought, 'since you'll be my slave, you have a very pretty face and it'll be mine soon enough, for a half-blood noble he sure is handsome... maybe more accurately pretty.' she thought as she had a sinister look on.
Of course, Kumi and Takashi were not stupid and saw through this, Kumi was raging with anger while Takashi remained calm looking at her as if she was nothing but a mere bug. But since Kumi has an influence on his emotions as well, he was clenching his fist tight.
'Calm down' Takashi coaxed Kumi which didn't resist and became calm.
Kumi smiled and offered his hand to the girl, which she grabbed but put some strength to pull him down but Kumi sensed her increasing her strength and so he increased his nullifying her strength and even pulling her up right away.
"Then I'll be going," Kumi said as he went away, the girl ran the other way feeling embarrassed.
Kumi dropped his smile and thought, 'she was trying to make a scene,'
A day later
Amba has finally made her move.
She took Kumi to a secluded place.
"Why did you bring me here Amba?"
"We have not seen each other for some time so I wanted to see how you were doing, are you well,"
"Sister... Thank you for your concern, I have been well, how about you? I doubt you had a hard time in fact far from it I bet you had a great time right you two-faced bitch." "Why do you keep pretending?" He said not maintaining his smile as he did at the beginning.
Amba also dropped her cat and sneered at him, "Why are you also pretending? Being nice to others when you don't mean it."
"Who says I don't mean it?" Although she was right.
"You fucking son of a bitch!! How dare you make others like you, they should only look and like me!"
"What a selfish sister, are you not trying your hardest seducing others."
"Don't call me your sister you half-blood" She said as she slapped him her nails scratching his skin making blood ooze out.
Kumi could no longer contain his anger and grabbed her hair and pulled it back, "Hey, you bitch the duke can no longer protect you while you are here so you better behave" He said as he smashed her to the ground.
He left her on the ground dumbfounded.
Once she regained her senses she felt irate digging her nails into the ground wanting to scream in anger, after calming down she thought to herself, 'see if you are able to live a peaceful life.'
As Kumi walked away he didn't bother to heal the wound or even clean it he let the blood seep down on his cheek.
Ashrith who came looking for him saw the blood on his face and came to him in a hurry, "Are you okay? Did someone bully you? Who was it?"
"Even if you knew you can't do anything, but it wasn't one-sided"
"What do you mean? Did someone really bully you? That doesn't matter right now lets get you treated." He said as he dragged Kumi back to their room.
As Ashrith cleaned the wound he said, "Now tell me what happened?"
"It's just Amba came to me and slapped me and I pushed her down the ground"
"That answer is too vague," Kumi told him everything and he maintained a calm face through the whole process but deep inside he didn't like his friend being treated this way.
"Okay from now on where ever you go I will stay with you"
"We won't be together all the time" Kumi rejected, 'This guy always has a way to make me feel guilty that I have his life in my hands' He thought
'I couldn't agree more' The other Kumi said to Takashi
"Ley's try to be together as much as possible then" Ashrith sighed putting the first aid kit away.
"Alright" Kumi responded thinking he may have a soft spot for this kid.
"Oh right I need some help with my homework, could you help me?" Ashrith asked
"Yes," Kumi responded without hesitation.
Two days after a group of seniors came to Kumi trapping him in a secluded place.
